Jersey Shore: Family Vacation's Jenni "JWoww" Farley revealed how challenging her divorce has been during a vulnerable moment on Thursday night's episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
While filming this season, Farley was facing a difficult divorce from Roger Matthews, the father of children Meilani and Greyson. This week's episode showed us the aftermath of that argument, wherein Farley's boyfriend Zach Carpinello accused Pivarnick of trying to kiss him. Farley and Pivarnick feuded over dinner, pointing fingers and smashing glass bottles. After separating and sobering up, the two sat down to have a mature and sober discussion. Farley was happy to put the argument behind them, saying that she's tired of fighting and is ready to move on.
According to People, Farley and Matthews were doing their best to put any animosity behind them to finalize their divorce proceedings as civilly as possible. A representative said that the exes had "reached an amicable conclusion" and "remain devoted to co-parenting their children in a happy and healthy environment." On Thursday night, Farley referred to Matthews as her "biggest" regret, going on to say she was "going through it with the divorce."
Farley filed for divorce in September of 2018 after nearly three years of marriage to Matthews. During the filing process, the two continued to spend time together as a family, even celebrating their three-year wedding anniversary in October 2018. After a heated argument in December 2018, their relationship turned sour, forcing Farley to file for a restraining order against Matthews. Now, she's saying their divorce is "...more than exhausting — it can mentally break someone. I just want peace." Despite the difficulties Farley has faced with her divorce, she said her kids were her "bliss as [she's] suffering." As Farley pointed out Thursday night, "When you get divorced, you’re supposed to be celebrating and start a new chapter, but it’s really heartbreaking. And it’s stressful, the up and down battle of figuring out custody issues. I just don’t know when it gets better.”
It's evident that her children are of paramount importance to her finding inner peace and cope with her divorce. In addition, the time Farley spends with her Jersey Shore family seems to be beneficial to her healing, too. While there's no definitive answer to that question, fans are in support of Farley's struggle and wish her nothing but the best during this difficult time.
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation airs Thursdays at 8 PM EST on MTV.
