Jersey Shore star Jenn Harley has checked herself into rehab for alcohol dependency. Jenn is the ex-girlfriend of Ronnie Ortiz Magro. Jenn and Ronnie share a 3-year-old daughter, Arianna Sky. Fans of the show watched all of the toxic drama unfold between the exes throughout the second season of a Jersey Shore spinoff.
After Jenn and Ronnie called it quits for good in 2019, they each began dating other people. Jenn and her new boyfriend Joe Ambrosole have had their fair share of public fights similar to those that she once had with Ronnie. Jen was recently arrested yet again after a disagreement between her and Joe turned physical. According to the allegations, Jenn not only left Joe on the side of a busy road but also aimed a gun at home upon his arrival home. A discussion of Jenn's drinking habits was what initially started this argument. With that said, it is unclear whether Jenn and Joe are still together or not.
Now, just one month after her latest arrest for domestic battery, Jenn Harley has checked herself into rehab. As reported by TMZ, Jenn is looking to make a change in her life. In doing so, she is setting out to become sober. Gina Rodriguez, Jenn's rep, said that Jenn chose to check into a rehab facility located in Las Vegas in an effort "to seek treatment for her alcohol dependency." Jenn is also working on becoming "the best parent she can be for her children." In addition to her and Ronnie's daughter, Jenn has an 11-year-old son with a different ex as well.
It was allegedly Jenn's decision to check into the rehab center. She is currently taking part in a 28-day program, which began on Saturday, July 17. It was also stated that Jenn is still facing charges for the incident. However, "her rep says she's still looking forward to a fresh start once she finishes the rehab program." Following her arrest, it was rumored that Jenn had lost some of her brand endorsements. She was also caught by fans poking fun at her own mugshot on social media. Now, fans on Reddit are suspecting that Jenn's lawyer advised her to check into rehab, or else she might have to go to jail. These fans believe that Jenn did not make this decision on her own.
Ronnie is also currently seeking help for his own mental health issues. On the other hand, he's not receiving help inside a facility. It is unclear who the couple's daughter is spending the majority of her time with now that Jenn is in rehab. Alas, it is assumed that she is with Ronnie in Los Angeles. Prior to this incident, Arianna was splitting her time between both parents. Ariana was not with Jenn at the time of her recent arrest. Instead, she spent Father's Day weekend with Ronnie and her soon-to-be stepmom Saffire.
