The cast has been spending a lot of time together lately as they film for the second half of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 6. The group of original roommates reunited in 2018, six years after the original series came to an end, to film for the spinoff series. Although it was questionable at the time how successful the spinoff show would be after being off-air for so many years, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation has been a hit among fans for five years.

While the spinoff show is quite different than Jersey Shore, it can be argued that Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is better than the original. Before, the cast would be filmed nearly 24/7 as they partied around the clock. Although this was always fun to watch, a lot has changed since the original show ended. When the cast returned for the spinoff series, many were either married or in serious relationships; some even had kids of their own. Despite the format differing from the original, the roommates still manage to entertain the fans.

The Jersey Shore Cast Has Been Spotted Filming Together For Weeks

Although the first half of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 6 is still airing new episodes, the cast is already preparing for the second half of the season. Within recent weeks the cast has been spotted on numerous occasions filming together. In March, nearly all the roommates took a trip to Atlantic City together to support DJ Pauly D at his show in the Borgata Hotel and Casino.

Just a few weeks prior, they met up at a ski resort in Pennsylvania for another trip. Aside from their weekend getaways, the group has also been spotted at different restaurants filming together as well. Many of the roommates have also shared on social media, revealing that they were filming together.

Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola Reunites With Cast In Spin-off Debut

The most exciting thing that will happen during the second half of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 6 is Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola's a shocking return. Although Sammi was one of the original roommates throughout Jersey Shore, the star opted out of returning for the spin-off in an effort to avoid having to film alongside her toxic ex-boyfriend Ronnie Ortiz Magro. Since Ronnie is no longer filming, Sammi has finally made her spin-off series debut.

The announcement was made on social media in March before she was spotted in the mountains and Atlantic City along with the rest of the cast. Sammi was also seen with the roommates for a family dinner and even brought her new boyfriend along. It is unclear how permanent of a role Sammi will have on the show.

Although the cast is currently filming for the second half of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 6, a premiere date has yet to be announced. Since the first half of the season is still airing brand-new episodes, the second half can be expected to air sometime in summer 2023. From the looks of it, fans are in for some exciting new episodes when the second half of the season airs.
