The trailer for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 3 has been released, revealing how Jenni "JWoww" Farley has been dealing with her divorce. JWoww filed for divorce from her husband, Roger Mathews, in September last year. Now, viewers will see how the reality TV star handled the difficult time in her life.
A lot has happened to the cast of Jersey Shore since fans last saw them, particularly to their romantic relationships. While things have gone well for some - for instance, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino married girlfriend Lauren Pesce in November of last year - some bonds weren't as strong and didn't make it to Season 3. Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and girlfriend Jen Harley called it quits in January after a tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship. And sadly, after nearly three years of marriage, JWoww officially ended things with her husband and father of her two children.
In the new Jersey Shore: Family Vacation trailer released last week by the official MTV Jersey Shore YouTube channel, fans can see the highs and lows of the upcoming season. The highs include the moments leading up to The Situation's wedding, while the lows include his court date after being charged with tax evasion. In the trailer, Pauly D responds to this, saying, "Whatever the outcome may be, we're here for you throughout that whole process." He also jokes that maybe the judge is female and will be "DTF" aka "down to forgive." Check out the trailer below:
One major milestone on the show will be for JWoww, who split from husband due to "irreconcilable differences." However, in the trailer, JWoww is seen dancing with a new man, and then explains that she is "Moving on." JWoww isn't too emotional about the divorce, which could have something to do with alleged physical and emotional abuse that JWoww endured in the relationship.
That said, despite all of the drama happening, this season won't be all doom and gloom. At the end of the new Jersey Shore: Family Vacation trailer, there is a touching moment between the cast in which The Situation says in a toast that he's "so grateful" for the friends he's made over the past decade, opening the door for a whole new season of drama, partying, and, of course, plenty of fist-bumping.
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 3 premieres July 11 at 8pm EST on MTV.
