Chris Larangeira admitted the fame he and his wife Angelina Pivarnick have gained from being on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation has ultimately affected their relationship. Chris and Angelina tied the knot in an extravagant wedding in 2019, which was seen on the show. As the drama from the wedding finally came to an end, so did the couple's honeymoon phase of their marriage.

Last winter, Chris and Angelina began facing issues within their marriage primarily caused by cheating allegations. Chris temporarily moved out of the couple's shared home in New Jersey, leaving Angelina distraught. Angelina ultimately decided to get her lawyers involved by filing for a divorce in January, when things were at an all-time low for the couple. However, the divorce is expected to be dismissed, as the case has remained without an update for quite some time.

As Chris and Angelina continue to push through the rocky road they have been on, Chris fears the fame the couple has gained from the show has had an effect on their relationship. According to People, in tonight's new episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Chris becomes vulnerable while at dinner with the rest of the cast's significant others. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's wife Lauren Sorrentino initiates the conversation by admitting that adjusting to being in the spotlight took some time for her. Chris chimes in by explaining it was actually the opposite for him. He had known Angelina well before Jersey Shore even existed. Although they did not start dating until many years later, the two were already engaged before she even returned for the spinoff series.

Prior to being offered the opportunity to be on the spinoff series, Angelina and Chris planned on getting married and starting a family together. Chris recalls, "We were planning on just [having] a regular family, without all this." He even admits that, had she not returned to the show, they would most likely already have a child of their own. Jenni "JWoww" Farley's fiancée Zack Clayton asks Chris if he wishes that was the life they had today. Chris responds, "You know what, sometimes I do think that. I'm almost like, without the fame, without the money, maybe it would be a little easier." Without all of these things, both Chris and Angelina would be able to focus more on their relationship, as it would no longer be in the spotlight.

For the last few years, every high and low of Chris and Angelina's relationship has been seen (and discussed) by the public, whether it be from social media or Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Unfortunately, that has ultimately taken a toll on their relationship. However, it seems Chris and Angelina are continuing to work on the marriage together.
