The cast of Jersey Shore reunited in a new photo posted yesterday, while visiting Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino in prison. The cast have become a family over the years, after partaking in six seasons of Jersey Shore together. The photo shows just how close that bond really is, and how happy Sorrentino looked standing next to his wife and long-time friends during the visit.

Members of the cast have visited Sorrentino in prison before, which was also documented with a photo gallery posted by his wife Lauren on May 3. She captioned the pic, "Tough Times Don’t Last, Tough People Do #FreeSitch".  The gallery included a photo of cast members Vinny Guadagnino and Paul `Pauly D' Delvecchio posing next to their incarcerated friend. On January 19, 2018, the reality tv star, who's also known to have struggled with substance abuse in the past, pleaded guilty, along with his brother Marc Sorrentino, on charges of tax evasion via false tax records that had been filed from 2010 through 2012. The brothers began serving both of their sentences at the Federal Correctional Institution in Otisville, New York, in January of this year.

The photo Sorrentino's wife Lauren posted on his behalf shows that the inmate is doing his best to remain positive, and seems to be doing quite well considering. She captioned the photo "The Comeback Is Always Greater Than The Setback #FreeSitch", and sports one of the shirts the pair are selling, which say "Free Sitch". Next to Lauren are Jersey Shore Family Vacation co-stars Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Deena Cortese and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, while Ronnie Ortiz-Magro stands on Sorrentino's other side. In the photo, the cast barely leave any space between one another, as they huddle close together and smile for the shot.

Jersey Shore Family Vacation airs its third season this summer, and currently few details are available, but its likely Sorrentino will be apart of it in some form, even if that means bringing the cameras into the prison. The reunion show began its first season on April 5, 2018, reuniting the original cast, minus Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and including Cortese, who first appeared later on in the original series. Season one brought the cast together by having them stay in a townhouse in Miami Beach, while the second season showed the cast exploring Las Vegas, followed by their return home to New Jersey.

It looks like The Situation is doing his best under the circumstances, while serving his time in prison. When he finally does emerge from jail, he has 500 hours of community service waiting for him, in addition to the $10, 000 fine and $123, 913 Sorrentino already paid in restitution. With the support of his family and Jersey Shore friends, however, he'll likely find ways to pass the time.
