Mike "The Situation" may have revealed to fans that the Jersey Shore cast had already begun filming the next season, but he left them wondering the details surrounding the new episodes. Now, it is has been confirmed that the cast is currently filming in the mountains. Many of the roommates have been posting on social media, letting fans know they were in fact filming or traveling to a location to film. The cast is currently in a Covid safe "bubble" to finish filming the second half of season 4.
Jersey Shore wrapped up the first half of season 4 just last week. While much of the Vegas vacation was spent focusing on the never-ending drama involving the infamous bridesmaids' speech at Angelina's wedding, the family managed to come together to enjoy the last few days of their trip together. The season had a different approach as many of the cast's significant others and even children were involved in a majority of the episodes. Mike's wife, Lauren, seems to have become an official cast member while Pauly's girlfriend Nikki Hall appeared in a few episodes as well. Deena's husband and son were also seen throughout the season.
The roommates are trading in their bathing suits for winter coats as they head into another Covid "bubble" to finish filming the rest of season 4. According to TMZ, the entire cast and their families are currently in quarantine at a resort in Pennsylvania. Angelina, Vinny, Pauly and Mike had all recently posted Instagram stories revealing they were filming. Lauren later posted a baby bump update from the mountains, leading fans to initially speculate the season would take place at a winter resort. Mike also posted a photo from the same spot alongside his wife. The next day, Deena shared a photo with her husband Chris, captioning it, "Just a couple of BUCKS spotted in the woods." She even included the camera emoji. Both Lauren and Deena called the trip their "Baby Moon."
Based on photos posted by the roommates, the resort is assumed to be Pennsylvania's Woodloch Resort. On the resort's website, it states, "Woodloch, the best family resort in the Pocono Mountains." The cast will have plenty to do to keep them busy as the resort offers activities such as an indoor splash zone, go-carts, ice rink, and more. There seems to be an indoor playground for kids as well as Deena posted an Instagram story of her husband and son sliding down slides inside the resort. Their son CJ may have a friend on this trip as Ronnie posted an Instagram story of his daughter in the snow the same day. From the looks of Deena's photo with her husband, the roommates may have tried snow tubing as there was a red snow tube seen in the picture.
It is perceived that part of the season was filmed in each of the cast member's individual homes prior to leaving for the mountains as many posted photos with camera crews inside their houses. Angelina and Snooki were also spotted having lunch together with cameras; however, it seems as though Snooki is not partaking in the trip to the mountains as she is still home with her family according to her own Instagram stories. A set date has yet to be announced for when Jersey Shore: Family Vacation will return.
