Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Angelina Pivarnick thinks Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola should replace Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi on future seasons of the show. While Polizzi only recently announced that she's done with the revamped reality series, Pivarnick has already turned her focus to a brand new cast member in the wake of Snooki's exit.

Although Jersey Shore officially wrapped in 2012, MTV wasn't done with these crazy roommates just yet. In 2018, the Jersey Shore cast reunited once again, this time for a family vacation. Although most of the cast returned for the Jersey Shore reboot, once roommate was noticeably absent. Sammi Giancola refused to return for Family Vacation, telling fans that she was currently in a very happy place in her life and wanted to stay far away from toxic situations. Most fans assumed she was referring to her highly volatile relationship with fellow cast member Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, whom Giancola dated on and off during her first experience on the show. But after airing for three seasons with the rest of the cast present, it's obvious that everyone involved in the show still has their fair share of issues, making Sammi's decision more and more understandable. Despite Giancola's unwillingness to participate, however, Pivarnick still thinks she should join the cast.

While talking to Us WeeklyPivarnick stated that her pick for Polizzi's replacement is Giancola, saying, “I said this in the beginning — like, years ago — that [Sammi] should return." However, she went on to acknowledge that the show didn't fit in to Giancola's current plan. Pivarnick continued, "She’s living her best life." She explained, "She’s getting married soon - good for her. She looks so amazing." Despite her desire to have Sammi on the show, Pivernack also made it clear that she was far from best friends with the former MTV star. When asked about Giancola's future wedding, Angelina state that she didn't know who would be invited, saying, "I don’t know who she’s inviting to the wedding." She revealed, "I don’t know if it’s right now. I don’t know if it’s this year. I think it’s next year, so I don’t know."

Pivarnick's statement comes on the heels of Polizzi's announcement that she's leaving the popular reality series. Earlier this month, Polizzi announced on her podcast that she was ready to be done with Jersey Shore. After stating that it's hard for her to be away from her children, Polizzi also made it clear that the drama was taking a toll on her. After a few blow-ups fights between Polizzi, Pivarnick, and Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Polizzi felt that the drama wasn't worth the time away from her three kids. Although the news came as a surprise to fellow cast members and fans alike, Polizzi insisted that the show just doesn't make her happy anymore.

While Jersey Shore: Family Vacation started as a heartwarming way for the cast to get back together, it's quickly turned into an equally as dramatic reboot of the original show. However, unlike the first Jersey Shore seasons, the stars are now dealing with difficult real life problems. Farley is going through a very public divorce. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino was recently released from jail. Ortiz-Magro's constant drama with his girlfriend dominates the show and the news alike. The longer the series goes on, the more it seems like Giancola had the right idea in the first place. With Polizzi taking a step away, we can only hope that Sammi sticks to her original decision and stays far away from this dramatic mess.
