In the video, the technology is attached to his right leg via suction cups and seems to be shaking his leg as it works. Thankfully, there are no visible wounds on Renner's leg in the video he shared, and the actor's choice of music—the upbeat "Lady Madonna" by The Beatles—speaks to the positive mood the 52-year-old actor would seem to be in at this point in his recovery.

On the first day of 2023, it was reported that Renner had been in an accident involving a snow plow near his home in Reno, Nevada. The actor had to be airlifted to the nearest hospital following the incident, during which his 14,000-lb Snowcat plow collapsed the right side of Renner's chest and also resulted in head injuries and blunt force trauma. The injury was made all the more upsetting after a local official revealed that Renner was injured trying to help a neighbor who was stuck on the snowy road.

It was quickly announced that while Renner was stable at the hospital, he was also in critical condition and experiencing difficulties breathing. Thankfully, Renner's convalescence has shown great progress since that scary accident, and he has regularly shared encouraging updates about his status on his social media. Just a few days after the accident, the actor shared a heartening video with his mom and sister keeping him company in the hospital while giving Renner a head massage.

A few days after that, on his 52nd birthday, the actor shared a sweet photo of himself with the hospital staff that had been helping Renner through this tough time with a message thanking them for their role in his recovery. It remains to be seen whether Renner will need further surgeries to repair his injuries, but it goes without saying that his road to recovery from here would seem to be a long one. Just over a couple of weeks after the accident, Renner shared on his Twitter page that he had returned home from the hospital and is surrounded by loved ones, which is a great sign and will surely hel his recovery continue in the right direction.
