Speaking with THR about The Morning Show and trying to break out of being pigeonholed as a comedy actress, Aniston revealed that she'd love to work with Wes Anderson. She has mostly made her peace with the fact that the juicy dramatic roles go to actors with more proven track records. Wes Anderson is a director who has been nominated for 7 Oscars over the course of his career. He first arrived on the scene in 1996 with Bottle Rocket, which was adapted from his own 1994 short film. However, the director has made a variety of films that utilize his idiosyncratic, detail-oriented aesthetic, including the Best Picture-nominated Grand Budapest Hotel, the stop motion classic Fantastic Mr. Fox, and this year's buzzworthy outing The French Dispatch.
Anderson would likely be a good fit for Jennifer Aniston. The director's films tend to toe the line between comedy and drama, harnessing the skills of unique and funny people like Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, and Jason Schwartzman.
