Jenelle Evans, of Teen Mom, has taken legal action against David Eason and issued a protection order on behalf of herself and her three children: Jace, Kaiser, and Ensley, who is Eason's son. The documentation for the restraining order contained some horrific details of the abuse Evans has experienced during her relationship with Eason.

Evans announce her divorce from Eason October 31 after two years of marriage. Fans of Teen Mom shouldn't be surprised to learn about Eason's violent history, as the couple's often aggressive nature has been documented on the show and on social media. According to Us, Evans recounts a number of times Eason was abusive towards her in many different ways.  She says “I married David on September 23, 2017. Since then, he has been abusive and violent towards me. Because of his recent threats, his history of violence, his erratic behavior, and his large stockpile of weapons, I am scared for my life and for my children’s well-being.” The report outlined Eason's violent history and listed the terms for Evans and her children.

Protection & Custody

Evans filed for protection to keep Eason away from the Teen Mom star and her children. Though Eason is the father of Ensley, Evans felt it was necessary that he make no contact with her or the kids. Evans is not asking for child support, but she did request temporary custody of all of the kids.

Abuse Towards Evans & Children

Early into their marriage, Evans reported Eason got upset and "grabbed and squeezed my arm, causing a bruise." She provided photo evidence of the abuse.

Evans also submitted footage from an argument the couple had on February 17, 2019. "David told me, 'You can die for all I care. You're a piece of sh-t. Biggest piece of sh-t I've ever seen.' That same day, I took a video of David locking my car door with the car running and my son, Kaiser, inside the car. He did this because he was angry with me. I had to tell Kaiser to unlock the car. While Kaiser was trying to unlock it, David continuously locked it again with my spare key, scaring both me and Kaiser."

Disturbing Behavior

Evans also documented fearing that Eason would harm her or the children. After Evans moved out, Eason sent photos of a man she didn't recognize, accusing her of dating him. Eason threatened Evans that he would "...break his neck and feed you his head." Eason continued to threaten Evans, stating "My goal in life is to make sure you regret leaving me like this." With this protective order in place and Eason banned from speaking about Evans publicly, online or otherwise, fans are hopeful that Evans can move on get started on a more positive path.
