As reported by Deadline, Bridges announced that his cancer is in remission and that he is officially in recovery from his lymphoma and COVID-19. Bridges’ took to his social media to reveal that his “9x12 mass has shrunk down to the size of a marble” and admitted he battled the effects of COVD-19 after contracting it during chemotherapy treatments. Bridges said, “My dance with COVID makes my cancer look like a piece of cake.” Nearly one year after his cancer diagnosis, Bridges concluded that he's feeling much better.

Furthermore, the acclaimed actor declared he’s ready to get back to work on the FX series The Old Man, which was initially slated for a 2021 debut. Written by Jon Steinberg and Robert Levine, The Old Man marks Bridges’ return to television after five decades and halted production earlier this year due to Bridges’ diagnosis and escalating coronavirus concerns. Of course, despite his battle with cancer and coronavirus, Bridges’ career shows no sign of slowing down.
