Ahsoka Tano is all over the place right now and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 should be where she makes her next appearance. Now that Ahsoka has made her heavily-anticipated live action debut in The Mandalorian, her already insane popularity will only continue to grow. She's easily the most popular character in Star Wars right now, and Lucasfilm knows it.

Ahsoka Tano was first introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars back in 2008, as the Padawan to Anakin Skywalker. She was initially poorly received as a snippy teenager, but her growth and development over the course of the series won fans over. When Disney acquired Lucasfilm in 2012 and cancelled the series, fans clamored for more of her until she reemerged in Star Wars: Rebels. Earlier this year, The Clone Wars made its triumphant return with Ahsoka at the heart of the conclusion of the war and now she's officially here in live action thanks to The Mandalorian, played by Rosario Dawson. In a lot of ways, Ahsoka has become the face of the non-movie Star Wars content and is one of the last creations of George Lucas.

As it stands, there is currently a gap in Ahsoka's story between her disappearance after her duel with Darth Vader in Star Wars Rebels and her reappearance after the defeat of the Empire. That's a time period that could very easily align with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 and provide a reason as to why she's not in the movies. It's unlikely that the game would abandon Cal Kestis as the main character, but Ahsoka could be heavily featured in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2's story as well as being a playable character to some extent. Ahsoka is just so popular at this point that it makes too much sense to allow fans to get to play as her in a game, and Fallen Order 2 would be a great opportunity to do that.

Jedi: Fallen Order 2 Could Reunite Ahsoka With Barriss Offee

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 Could Reunite Ahsoka With Barriss Offee

With the conclusion of Star Wars Rebels and the revival of The Clone Wars, Barriss Offee remains one of the few loose ends leftover from that era. Barriss framed Ahsoka in the bombing of the Jedi Temple, an act Ahsoka believed was carried out by Asajj Ventress, because Barriss believed that the Jedi were the true enemies of the galaxy, which would make her a perfect candidate for a Star Wars Inquisitor. Ahsoka ultimately left the Jedi Order after being falsely convicted and has yet to confront her former friend since the betrayal, as Barriss hasn't been seen since. Ahsoka's involvement in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 would make a lot of sense if Barriss were featured as the primary villain, especially considering her own views on the Jedi and the fact that Vader likely knows she survived their duel.

There is still plenty of story to tell for Ahsoka, and now that she's appeared in live action she could show up just about anywhere at any time. Considering that her search for Ezra Bridger and Grand Admiral Thrawn is apparently ongoing, this would leave the gap during the Original Trilogy as the best opportunity to feature Ahsoka in a game. Her acceptance that Anakin turned to the dark side and being forced to duel him has had a major impact on her, and that more personal story would be perfect for a game. Ahsoka is a fantastic character and would be a great fit for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2.
