Kaitlyn Bristowe, former star of The Bachelorette, just won the latest season of Dancing with the Stars, but it may be her boyfriend who is most excited for her victory. Bristowe has been dating Jason Tartick, a former contestant on The Bachelorette who appeared in the 14th season of the show. Bristowe herself appeared in the 19th season of The Bachelor before going on to become the 11th bachelorette.
In the most recent season of Dancing with the Stars, Bristowe was paired with professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev. Finale night took place this past Monday, with four celebrities dancing to stay in contention for the grand prize: Bristowe, Nelly, Justina Machado and Nev Schulman. Each of the dancers performed two numbers with their pro partners, but it was ultimately Bristowe who came away with the Mirrorball Trophy. Schulman took second place, while Nelly came in third. Machado walked away with fourth place.
Following the victory, Tartick posted a video on social media of himself celebrating Bristowe’s big win. In the footage, Tartick can be seen screaming and holding his head in disbelief as the final results are revealed. For good measure, he also popped a bottle of champagne, which appeared to splash all over the room.
Tartick celebrated his leading lady’s win with stylist Lo VonRumpf in the video. There is also some fitting background music playing in the clip: “We Are the Champions” by Queen. In his caption, Tartick congratulated Bristowe on making “another dream come true,” and stated that she earned and deserved the win. Tartick has since uploaded a screenshot of his FaceTime call with the former bachelorette following her victory as well. Throughout the season, Bristowe’s beau made several posts on social media, documenting her journey from amateur celebrity dancer to champion. In many of the videos, Tartick features Bristowe herself as she prepares for the competition and balances it with everyday life.
If there’s one thing for certain, it’s that Bachelor Nation has a lot to look forward to with this couple. Tartick has truly proven himself as a loyal, passionate partner who wants nothing but the best for Bristowe. The former bachelorette looks to be falling even harder for Tartick, who she originally started seeing in 2019. Now we wait and see if there’s any more good news to come from the two in the future.
