DCEU Aquaman actor Jason Momoa trades roles, becoming Batman in a charmingly bizarre video. Momoa sees his second solo adventure at DC, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, debut this Christmas. The actor ditches his famous water-based role to become one of his Justice League teammates, Batman, for a hilarious commercial that makes full use of the actor's charisma. On Twitter, theme park Yas Island shared a video of Momoa dressed up as Batman to promote the park's Warner Bros. World.

The charming video sees Momoa attempt to convince others that he is Batman while visitors and other Warner Bros. characters from the theme park, including DC characters like Superman and Harley Quinn, continue to point out that he is Aquaman. With the DC Universe reboot on the way, maybe Momoa will end up switching DC roles after all.

Will Jason Momoa Be Aquaman In James Gunn's DC Universe?

Momoa might not be playing Batman when the new DC Universe comes around, but there is a chance that the actor will not be seen as Aquaman either. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom's story could potentially be the last time that Momoa dons the golden suit. While it seems that the actor will come back to be a part of the new DC Universe, he might be doing so as Lobo rather than Aquaman.

Over the years, Momoa has teased that he could be playing Lobo at some point. The rumors that the actor was ditching his Aquaman role for Lobo caught some steam over the last year, with the announcement that the DCEU would be rebooted with the new DC Universe under James Gunn and Peter Safran. Gunn has made it clear that while Momoa should continue in the new DC Universe, he will be doing so by playing only one character, which means it is either Aquaman or Lobo.

Some actors will continue in their roles from the old DCEU, so it would seem that Momoa coming back, only to play a different character, would be quite distracting. Besides, Momoa shared a positive update on his Aquaman future, saying that he believes "Aquaman will be involved in the DCU" and sharing an enthusiastic "it’s on, bro – there’s no one bigger than Aquaman!" Based on his words, it appears that Momoa wants to continue playing Aquaman, which means those Lobo rumors can likely be put to rest, and the charming Batman video will remain a one-off.
