As the number of coronavirus cases increases in the United States, Jared Leto offers fans a source of entertainment by trying to initiate a quarantine cinema club. Celebrities have been addressing the pandemic in their own ways. Gal Gadot, Sarah Silverman and Will Ferrell are among 22 other celebrities who have been condemned for releasing what fans call an out-of-touch, insensitive cover of John Lennon's "Imagine." Other celebrities like Rihanna, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Kelly Rippa and Ciara have been more helpful by donating millions to coronavirus relief efforts.

Jared Leto is contributing to the cause in his own unique way. He tweeted to fans yesterday that he will be starting his own "Jared Leto Cinema Club." He announced that the club's first movie is Ferris Buller's Day Off. He revealed to fans that he will be watching the film today Sunday March 22nd at 1 PM/PST and live tweeting the entire experience. Fans are welcome to join his cinema club and can stream the film on Netflix or rent it from YouTube, Amazon or iTunes.

The genesis of Leto's cinema club comes not too long after Leto confessed that he hadn't known about the coronavirus outbreak until last Tuesday. He explained to fans that he was left in the dark while on a 12 day silent mediation in the desert without any technology or forms of communication. Once leaving the facility, he received a flood of texts from friends and family informing him of the impacts of the coronavirus outbreak. He concluded his tweet with positive vibes and asked fans to stay inside.
