The personality traits and motivations of those characters offers some compelling evidence to decipher their zodiac signs.
Aries: Luisa
There are people who put a lot of thought into their decisions, and there are others who jump right in. Luisa is the latter, which is why she's most definitely an Aries.
Aries are impulsive, often following their first thought without considering the consequences. That's very much in line with Luisa jumping into a relationship with Rose before discovering the woman is dating her father. Lina is one of Jane's oldest friends. The two meet in fifth grade when Jane tries to teach her own sexual education class in Catholic school. Though she doesn't appear in every episode, Lina and Jane never lose their connection.

Nadine isn't in the series long, but she certainly makes an impression as Michael's partner on the police force. She turns out to have been feeding information to Sin Rostro, but not entirely by choice.
Nadine sees the good and the bad in every situation, weighing the possible outcomes and going with the one decision she thinks she has to make. She's the person most likely to play devil's advocate in an argument and to try to get someone to see another point of view. Nadine is very much a Libra.
Scorpio: Magda
Scorpios tend to be typecast as villains thanks to their aggressive nature, but in this case, Jane The Virgin's resident Scorpio is definitely a villain.
Magda goes after what she wants, no matter who might get hurt in the process. She hides the truth about herself from her own daughter in order to get Petra to continue playing into her hands. She definitely gives Scorpios a bad name.
Sagittarius: Jane

Despite her career choices not being entirely practical for a young woman living with her mother and having a child in high school, Xiomara never gives up. She puts her daughter first, butts heads with her mother, but always follows her passion of performing, whether it's dance or song. She might not be Jane's idea of a traditional mom, but she certainly finds her own way.
Pisces: Alba
Often thought of as the most spiritual of the zodiac, Pisces tend to be the ones most connected to the world around them. They're creative and sensitive souls.
Alba has rigid rules in her home, but she has them as part of her religious observations. As she sees her daughter become a mother, and then her granddaughter as well, Alba relaxes those rules, understanding that she has to be flexible in a changing world.
