No Time To Die actor Lashana Lynch states she is open to returning to the world of James Bond in future installments. No Time To Die is the most recent entry in the massively successful 007 series. The film is the 25th entry in the franchise, and also marks the end of actor Daniel Craig's term as the suave secret agent. No Time To Die is helmed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, and follows the MI6 agent as he tracks down a mysterious new villain (Rami Malek) who has access to dangerous new technology.

One of the stand-out points to No Time To Die is the inclusion of the "00" agent Nomi played by Lynch. Lynch's performance in the film has gained quite a bit of praise from Bond fans since the film's release in October of 2021. Since then, Lynch has quickly risen through the ranks, becoming some fans' favorite Bond Girl, which is no small feat. Lynch has even won the recent Rising Star Award at the BAFTAs since her work on the film. This, of course, has lead many viewers to wonder if they will get to see Nomi reappear in future 007 installments.

Recently, Lynch has spoken about whether Nomi will be returning. While at the BAFTA's Lynch spoke at the winners' press conference (hat tip Digital Spy) about her future with the Bond series. When asked if she would return, Lynch has stated that she would, though she has clarified that she doesn't "know if it's happening." Lynch has gone on to express how she would love to return to the Bond team, as she found them to be "such a collaborative family." See Lynch's full quote below:

"I would. I don't know if it's happening, by the way. I've had a really good time working with [producers] Barbara [Broccoli] and Michael [G Wilson] and the whole team there. It's such a collaborative family."

Lynch has also expressed that she believes that Nomi is a character who people can't get enough of. This is certainly great news to hear, as when Lynch's casting in the role was first announced, there was some major backlash from fans due to her being the first Black woman cast as a "00" agent. While that may seem hard to believe, some apparently were not ready for it. However, according to Lynch, all the negativity from the fanbase has caused her to work harder to bring positivity to the role, and based on the response Nomi has received, Lynch has done an excellent job.

While there is still no news as to whether Lynch's Nomi will be returning to the world of 007, it certainly should not be ruled out. With both Lynch and fans wanting to see more of the character, it seems like a no-brainer to bring the Nomi back on Bond's next epic adventure. It is likely that fans will not find out if Lynch is returning for some time however, as Craig's departure from the series has put a huge focus on who will take up the 007 mantle next. Whether or not the new James Bond teams up with Nomi in the future, she can always be caught in the epic Craig-era finale No Time To Die.
