Jade Roper, second-season winner of Bachelor in Paradise, posted a photo to her Instagram Stories on Nov. 18, giving Bachelor Nation a glimpse into life with her newborn son, Reed. Roper also appeared on the 19th season of The Bachelor, but it wasn’t until she was on Bachelor in Paradise that she found her soulmate, Tanner Tolbert. The happy couple got hitched back in 2016, and announced that they were expecting their first child in March 2017.
In August 2017, Tolbert and Roper confirmed that they had welcomed a baby girl into their family named Emerson Avery. By January 2019, they were expecting again, and in March of the same year, they revealed that they were anticipating a baby boy. In July 2019, Roper delivered Brooks Easton, but they weren’t done just yet. The couple announced that they were expecting a third child in May of this year, and Roper gave birth to Reed on Nov. 14.
Last week, Roper (via US Weekly) posted a photo to her Instagram, sharing tidbits of information into her life with another newborn at home. In the image, which was uploaded to her Instagram Stories, Roper said that this is “definitely the most tired” she’s been thus far. She even said she had been wearing the same clothes for three days, as she takes care of her new little one and the rest of the family. However, she called Reed her “cute snuggle buddy,” and didn’t seem to be one bit bothered by all of the love that comes with motherhood.
This is not the first glimpse the world has gotten of little Reed. Roper made a post on Instagram a week ago to share his arrival, calling him “perfect.” Since then, she has uploaded a handful of behind-the-scenes photos of her and the rest of her family welcoming Reed. Hubby Tolbert has also gotten in on the action on Instagram, uploading several images of the newborn. The couple notably decided to have the baby delivered at home via water birth. Roper has since posted a series of Instagram Stories documenting their journey from the moment Reed was born.
Since the little one’s arrival, it appears that the couple is taking everything in stride. More importantly, they seem to be loving every moment with their newborn, and who can blame them? Cheers to the new Tolbert family addition, and here to more happy memories.
