The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jackie Goldschneider recently shared that she had to explain the cheating rumors that Teresa Giudice spread about her husband on season 11 to her kids. And they did not take it lightly. Throughout season 11, Jackie had to contend with Teresa spreading a rumor at social events that her husband, Evan, had cheated on Jackie with someone from his gym. Teresa maintained that she didn't start the rumors, only spread them in the name of "looking out" for her friend, but given the two women's contentious relationship, her real motives were always in question.

Eventually, Teresa and Jackie mended their relationship long enough to enjoy some group trips together and Jackie's husband denied the rumors. Still, the mom of four was always worried that her kids, twins Jonas and Adin, 13, and twins Alexis and Hudson, 11,  would see the show or get wind of the rumors. It turns out that she was right, even it all worked out in the end between Jackie, Evan, and Teresa. Still, things were still tough throughout the reunion and it's likely that the beef between the two women will continue, or at least be brought up, in the upcoming season 12.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Jackie told the outlet that her kids' friends are old enough to have watched the show and got wind of the drama surrounding the Goldschneider's and Teresa. "I had to explain to them what was going on because they were hearing it from kids at school,” she said. She added that her daughter Alexis was "scared" after hearing what could be transpiring between her parents and didn't fully grasp what was really going on. At the end of the day, Jackie and Evan maintained that there was nothing wrong with their marriage, but try explaining that to pre-teen kids worried about their parents' future together, which was always Jackie's main concern on the show.

Jackie says that Teresa's words and actions really affected her family and her interest in filming the show, even though she and Evan came out even stronger than ever having dealt with the drama. The biggest issue was that she felt like she had to hide season 11 from her kids. Jackie told the outlet that she had watched every episode of RHONJ with her children before Teresa started spreading gossip, but knowing that the cheating rumors would control the narrative last year forced her to keep her kids as far away from the TV as possible.

Given this most recent interview, it sure doesn't seem like all is forgotten when it comes to Teresa's actions last year for Jackie. The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 12 will surely include some references to the damage done to their friendship, but hopefully it's tame enough that Jackie can watch the show with her kids this time around.
