While audiences are sure to be excited to learn they can get their hands on Jackass Forever sooner than later, it may not come as much of a surprise that the Blu-ray includes 40 minutes of unseen stunts. In the lead up to the film's release, Knoxville teased plans for a Jackass 4.5 and said it would be "stacked" with deleted scenes, while star Danger Ehren revealed they filmed enough footage for two movies during production. Jeff Tremaine also confirmed the development of the extra footage release ahead of Jackass Forever's arrival, stating that Eric André, who he collaborated with for the comedian's Netflix hit Bad Trip, would have more footage in Jackass 4.5.

The reveal of unseen stunts for the Jackass Forever Blu-ray and digital release also wouldn't mark the first time in the franchise the crew amassed extra footage that didn't make the theatrical releases. Both Jackass Number Two and 3D received separate extended release, which also included .5 tacked onto their respective title numbers, that included behind-the-scenes making-of featurettes, outtakes and deleted scenes.
