The first trailer for Jackass 4, officially titled Jackass Forever, will release on July 20. Co-created by Johnny Knoxville, Spike Jonze, and director Jeff Tremaine, the reality franchise centers on a group of friends carrying out stunts and pranks on each other or the general public. Knoxville also leads the cast of the franchise, which includes Brandon DiCamillo, Steve-O, Dave England, Chris Pontius, Ehren McGhehey, Jason "Wee Man" Acuña, Preston Lacy, recently-fired Bam Margera, and Ryan Dunn, who died in 2011 in a car accident.

First beginning as an MTV series, Jackass made its way to the big screen in 2002 following its cancellation and became an even bigger part of pop culture with three films and semi-spin-off Bad Grandpa. Despite Jackass 3D's financial and critical success in 2010, a proper fourth film didn't get underway until late 2019 with all original cast members returning. With production having wrapped earlier this year and an October release date officially set, Paramount is building the hype for the fourth film.

With just a few months left to go until the film's arrival, the official Jackass Instagram page shared the first official logo and title for Jackass Forever. In addition to the logo and tease of the group's older status, Paramount revealed that the first trailer for the film is set to come out next week. Check out the post below:

It's amazing to think it's already been 20 years since the Jackass franchise first got underway with the MTV series and became one of the most popular and controversial projects out there. Despite its disclaimer warnings ahead of every film and episode, its influence has frequently proven too strong as younger viewers find themselves drawn to try and recreate the hilarity from the screen. But for those who were able to sit back and enjoy the painful and vomit-inducing antics of the group, it does prove pretty exciting to see everyone reunite for Jackass 4.

With Steve-O and Knoxville having been hospitalized from on-set injuries for the film, it seems likely these controversies may start up once again. But as Knoxville has confirmed Jackass 4 will be his final outing in the comedy franchise, the upcoming movie is sure to be a nostalgic treat for audiences. Hopefully, the trailer will give moviegoers a better idea of what they can expect when Jackass Forever releases on October 22. With any luck, the film will be a satisfying sendoff for Knoxville and his fellow cast members.
