Netflix has officially set a release date for Jackass 4.5, a compilation of deleted scenes from Jackass Foreverby releasing a new stunt video. Jackass Forever marks the fourth installment in the iconic Jackass series, which follows a group of friends who perform increasingly dangerous and admittedly stupid stunts for the camera all in the name of comedy. Jackass originally began as a series on MTV, and quickly became the most successful show on the channel. In 2002, the series received its first full length movie and never looked back.

The Jackass gang conceive and shoot many more stunts than appear in the final cut of each film. In the past, this has left them open to release films in between each official Jackass installment that are compilations of deleted scenes from the previously released films. So far, fans have been treated to Jackass 2.5 and Jackass 3.5. Even before Jackass Forever was officially released, the minds behind the film had confirmed that a Jackass 4.5 would be on the way. Since the release of Jackass Forever, the cast has been hyping up the stunts that will be featured in Jackass 4.5, though until now, no release date had been set.

In a recent tweet from Netflixthe streaming service has revealed that Jackass 4.5 will land on their site on May 20th, as well as revealed a sneak peek at a wild new stunt from the film. According to the tweet, the stunt has been titled, the "Swingset Gauntlet" and it looks incredibly painful, to say the least. The concept is simple enough. Members of the team dressed in blowup animal costumes slide past a swing set on a makeshift conveyer belt, while other members of the cast swing on the swings and attempt to kick them off. Many of the animals certainly get thrown impressively far, especially when one is given an exercise ball to hold. See the full tweet below:

After watching the full video, it is almost hard to fathom how many of the Jackass gang are able to stand afterwards. Couple that with the fact that the cast shot enough of these stunts to fill two feature length Jackass movies, and one certainly gains a new respect for their bodies' endurance, if not their brains. With that said, everyone laughs throughout the video, and despite how painful it looks, it appears a good time was had by all.

As the Jackass crew get older, it is likely that less of these movies will be seen in the future, given the impact getting kicked by a swinging adult can have on the body. Indeed Jackass Forever did act somewhat as a nostalgia film, and concluded in a sentimental way that gave the feeling of finality, at least for now. With that said, fans of the series won't have to say goodbye just yet, as they still have a full movie coming their way on May 20th. Jackass 4.5 certainly looks like it won't be holding anything back.
