Warning! Spoilers for Alice Ever After by BOOM! Studios below

BOOM! Studios and J. Scott Campbell are teaming up for the first time ever, as the popular comic book artist is drawing a cover from the upcoming Alice Ever After miniseries. We can exclusively reveal Campbell's new cover for Alice Ever After, a dark tale focusing on Alice choosing between facing her real-life trauma or leaving for Wonderland for good.

J. Scott Campbell is one of the most in-demand artists in comics, as he's best known for his work on Marvel's The Amazing Spider-Man and co-creating Gen13 for Wildstorm Comics alongside Jim Lee and Brandon Choi. The artist is also known for his Danger Girl series with Andry Hartnell, which has crossed over with many properties, including Army of Darkness and G.I. Screen Rant can exclusively share J. Scott Campbell's first comic book cover for BOOM! Studios, as the artist will provide a variant for the upcoming Alice Ever After #1. The five-issue series from artist and writer Dan Panosian (An Unkindness of Ravens), artist Giorgio Spalletta (Red Sonja: Black, White, and Red), colorist Fabiana Mascolo (Yasmeen), and Jeff Eckleberry (Deadpool) will feature an older Alice, whose only escape from her real-life in returning to Wonderland. To return to Wonderland, she will turn to a life of crime, as she struggles to face her demons in the real world. Check out Campbell's cover below, which features both the fantastical and real-world sides of Alice.

The cover does a great job illustrating the duality of Alice's life. On the left side, Alice's life in Wonderland is highlighted, as she's all dolled up with a cup of tea. It's a much more bright and more fantastic world for her. Meanwhile, the right side is darker, as the trauma she wants to escape has made the real world her prison. Check out the official synopsis for Alice Ever After #1 below.

Return to Wonderland in this twisted sequel by superstar artist and writer Dan Panosian (An Unkindness of Ravens, Canary) perfect for fans of Mirka Andolfo's Mercy and Luna.

Alice first visited Wonderland as a child. Now an adult, it's her only escape from a cold, strange reality she finds herself living in.

But in order to return to her fantasy world, she'll need something stronger than mushrooms that change her size, and is forced to resort to crime to feed her growing addiction.

Will Alice choose to escape from her uncaring family and childhood trauma in Wonderland, or find the courage to face her demons in the real world?
