The upcoming video game Ironsmith Medieval Simulator will let players become a blacksmith in the Middle Ages. Despite being a time period filled with wars and instability, the medieval era acts as the setting for a lot of media, even for video games like the lore-filled Elder Scrolls. Fans of medieval times-themed video games will be delighted to hear that they will soon be able to try a new Middle Ages simulation video game.

Ultimate Games S.A., the Polish company publishing Ironsmith Medieval Simulator, is known for publishing video games in the simulation genre including its recently-released Electrician Simulator along with Ultimate Fishing Simulator, Thief Simulator, and Farming Life. The upcoming medieval simulator is not the first of its kind that Ultimate Games S.A. has published. In fact, in May of last year Ultimate Games S.A. published the House Flipper-like medieval simulator Castle Flipper. In Castle Flipper, the player is a medieval renovator who inherits a piece of land that they can develop however they want. Castle Flipper players complete life simulation tasks like cleaning and furnishing in addition to building their own medieval structures on the land.

Ultimate Games S.A. is now releasing the game Ironsmith Medieval Simulator, which will give players the opportunity to become a master of the forge. As a blacksmith in the Dark Ages, players will be tasked with making medieval weapons, armors, and tools for knights and other heroes. To create the perfect weapon and become a master of the forge, players must unlock schematics, learn skills, and buy required items. Ironsmith Medieval Simulator will also allow players to interact with NPCs in a sandbox environment that is based on classic RPGs and modify or decorate all items forged. According to the game's Steam page, Ironsmith Medieval Simulator is planned to be released on March 9th.

Realistic medieval simulator video games like this new game have become popular recently. For example, the real-time strategy medieval kingdom simulator Manor Lords gained has gained popularity throughout its development for combining tactical battles with historical realism. What's more, both Ironsmith Medieval Simulator and Manor Lords examine the lives of not the knights or lords, whose stories dominate medieval-themed media, but of the more common people like peasants and the lowly blacksmith.

While Ironsmith Medieval Simulator is a video game that is more niche in its offering, fans of all things medieval and fans of simulation games will be inclined to pick it up. Once they do, they too can be a master of the forge.
