Warning! Spoilers for Avengers Tech-On #2 by Marvel Comics below

Marvel's Iron Man just gave Spider-Man much-deserved credit for helping save the Avengers as they lost their powers against the Red Skull. In Avengers Tech-On #2, the Captain America villain uses the Infinity Mirror Shards to drain the Earth's Mightiest Heroes of their superpowers. To give the team a fighting chance against the Red Skull, Tony Stark and Peter Parker just built custom mech-suits that give each hero their old powers back.

Avengers Tech-On features the Avengers at their weakest point, as the team collectively loses their abilities after the Red Skull uses some of the last remaining energy of the Infinity Stones to depower everyone. Wolverine nearly dies after his healing factor stops working, while Captain America loses all the strength and power he gained from the Super-Soldier Serum. To combat Red Skull, Tony Stark built ridiculously impressive armors for each of his fellow heroes - with a big assist from Spider-Man.

In Tech-On Avengers #2 by Jim Zub, Jeff "Chamba" Cruz, and VC's Travis Lanham, the heroes successfully fend off the Red Skull after he attacks them again. After the battle, Iron Man explains the new custom armors to each hero, revealing he used data from Avengers headquarters and different advanced techs to replicate their powers in each suit. Noting the power isn't the same as their previous ones, Stark tells the team they should serve as a good replacement for the time being. Black Panther reveals to Stark he's impressed that he could build the suits so quickly after the Avengers were depowered. Stark, surprisingly, doesn't take all the credit, telling them Spider-Man played a key role in building them.

Spider-Man Avengers Suits

It's great to see Peter Parker's incredible intellect referenced in the comics, as it sometimes tends to be overlooked. Spider-Man is just as capable as Tony at building some astonishing tech, so the pair working together to solve the Avengers' power problems is fitting - even if replicating each hero's powers in such a quick and efficient way is ridiculous.

The armor is going to come in handy, as the Avengers will soon find out the Red Skull is using the remaining power of the Infinity Stones to assemble his own team - recently creating a terrifying variant of Loki. Thankfully, the Avengers have two of the most brilliant minds on planet Earth on their team and seem prepared to face any obstacle thrown their way. Honestly, if Iron Man and Spider-Man could create such powerful armors so quickly, they can probably find a solution to anything.
