While Iron Man has received many powerful upgrades to his armor over the years, few were more outrageous than when AIM brainwashed the hero and gave him a suit that gave him immediate access to one of the strongest beings in the Marvel Universe. In Marvel Action: Avengers #2 by Marvel Comics, Iron Man's AIM suit connects him to Fin Fang Foom, as the powerful dragon-like creature effectively became his sidekick for a brief time.

Iron Man and AIM might both strive for technological innovations, but the villainous group of scientists isn't looking to make the world a better place, but instead are looking for total control with their dangerous creations and experiments. Advanced Idea Mechanics is often under the control of the villain MODOK and has created and helped amplify some of the most dangerous weapons in the Marvel Universe, from the Cosmic Cube to the one-man Avenger, Super-Adaptoid. However, in a Marvel Action storyline, AIM successfully brainwashed Iron Man and gave him his most outrageous set of armor ever.

Seeing Iron Man become brainwashed by AIM and gaining control of Fin Fang Foom makes the yellow armor one of his most outrageous suits ever. Thankfully for the Avengers, Iron Man was eventually freed from his control by the villainous organization and used his AIM armor to take down the powerful monster before it caused irreparable damage to the Marvel Universe. However, while Iron Man's AIM armor was only briefly used, it proved to be one of his most insane suits ever, thanks to its connection to Fin Fang Foom.
