Warning! Spoilers Iron Man #16 by Marvel Comics

In an upcoming Marvel Comics series, Iron Man will officially be transformed into a god and return to Earth with his newfound powers. In a brand-new preview for Iron Man #16, Tony Stark arrives on his home planet after a near-fatal encounter with Korvac. However, he's back with a considerable power upgrade after obtaining the Power Cosmic. Iron Man will adjust as a superpowered hero while trying not to succumb to his ego after becoming an Iron God.

Iron Man's quest to stop Korvac has been building since the very start of his newest ongoing series. In the current Iron Man series from Marvel Comics, Tony Stark ended up on Galactus Worldship, Taa II, after the Living Tribunal saved him from being stuck far away from home on the opposite side of the galaxy in order to complete his mission. In an effort to stop Korvac from stealing the Power Cosmic, Iron Man's team faced off against the villain's forces. However, Korvac obtained the Power Cosmic, which forced Iron Man to reach into the cosmic energy himself and receive his most significant power upgrade ever. Previous previews have teased Stark becoming the Iron God and throwing literal planets at Korvac - but after the battle with the villain is over, Cosmic Iron Man will return to Earth.

Furthermore, it will lead his closest allies - including the Avengers and the Fantastic Four - to determine whether the new Iron God is a friend or a foe. IRON MAN'S COSMIC TRANSFORMATION CONTINUES!

The Iron God arrives back on Earth, intent on making his homeworld a better place for all. Finally, Tony Stark has the power to realize all of his best ideas and intentions…but perhaps the Power Cosmic might enable his ego in ways never seen before. It's going to be fascinating to see how obtaining the Power Cosmic - one of the single most extraordinary powers in the known Marvel Universe - will change Iron Man.
