Spoilers for Invincible Iron Man #4 by Marvel Comics
As Tony Stark's life is crumbling before his eyes, Iron Man will soon face off against his dark opposite in an upcoming storyline. In a new preview for Invincible Iron Man #4 from Marvel Comics, Iron Man's forthcoming battle against the industrialist Feilong is teased, as the billionaire villain will take control of Stark Industries and try to take everything from the hero.
In the first look at Invincible Iron Man #4 by Gerry Duggan and Juan Frigeri from Marvel Comics, Tony Stark will face off against his dark opposite in Feilong. The Elon Musk-like billionaire villain has previously battled the X-Men, but the new preview reveals he will be coming for Iron Man next. Feilong will immediately cause more chaos in Stark's already troubled life, as he will be revealed as the new owner of Stark Industries and all its tech. Iron Man will be forced to deal with the villain as he buys his empire.
Feilong Is Trying To Ruin Tony Stark And Iron Man
Feilong is a relatively new villain, debuting in Duggan's X-Men run in 2021. Feilong is a mutant-hating billionaire whose dream of turning Mars into a new world for humanity was dashed when the X-Men got there first, terraforming the planet and renaming it Arrako. Feilong, who runs Feilong industries, joined ORCHIS. However, his new role shows that he has turned his attention towards getting Iron Man's tech and assets, as he is the new owner of Stark Industries. Considering that Marvel is teasing Feilong as Tony Stark's "dark counterpart," it wouldn't be surprising to see him use his tech against the hero. Feilong taking Tony Stark's company and tech is the latest in a long line of problems the hero has recently encountered. Between Iron Man losing his vast fortune protecting the Marvel Universe, falling off the wagon again, nearly being killed in an explosion, and having limited resources left, he's not in great shape to deal with a new villain. At this point, it's become comical how much lousy luck Tony Stark has run into recently, but he's got no time to wallow about his losses and defeats as his dark opposite rises to take everything he has. Iron Man will meet Feilong in Invincible Iron Man #4, which arrives in comic book stores in March.
