Warning! Spoilers for Avengers: Forever #1 by Marvel Comics

An alternate version of Tony Stark's Iron Man has taken a completely different path as a hero and armed himself with his own Celestial gun in the process. In a new preview for Avengers: Forever #1 by Marvel Comics, Stark has become the Invincible Ant-Man of his universe - and has amazingly used his shrinking technology to turn a Celestial into one of his greatest weapons.

Marvel's Avengers: Forever series is expanding the Multiverse in new and incredible ways, as the series spins off out of the pages of Jason Aaron's current Avengers series. The comic finds the Ghost Rider on a quest across the Multiverse where he'll encounter a new version of Tony Stark's Iron Man, who's become the Invincible Ant-Man. Robbie Reyes will form his own Avengers team and will end up on an Earth that's been nearly destroyed by Mephisto and Doctor Doom Supreme's Multiversal Masters of Evil. However, before a great Multiversal battle occurs, readers will meet the Celestial-wielding Ant-Man.

In a new preview for Avengers: Forever #1 by Jason Aaron and Aaron Kuder, readers meet Tony Stark. However, this version of the hero isn't Iron Man, but instead, becomes the Invincible Ant-Man in his universe. Stark has become obsessed with the past, leading him to become the "last living archaeologist" of his Earth. Despite having a "worthless" name from his deceased dad, Tony kept the Stark name and is the most wanted man on his Earth.

In a monologue, Tony Stark reveals he tried to design a full suit of flying armor (like Iron Man), but it was too much work. So instead, he ended up with a small prototype and eventually created Stark Particles. After learning to shrink himself (and nearly drowning in his own puke), he discovered how to make other objects small, including the head of a Celestial, which he turned into the Knowhere Gun.

After finding the Celestials head in the bottom of a north pole volcano, he made the Knowhere Gun, which can be seen in action as the preview for Avengers: Forever #1 ends.

This new version of Stark, who's become Ant-Man instead of Iron Man on his Earth, has a similar passion for technology as the 616-version. However, he decided to keep things small (literally) and become Ant-Man, while shrinking a Celestial's head into his own Knowhere Gun. So the question remains: what else has he shrunken down, and how else does he differ from the Iron Man from the main universe? Readers will find out more when Avengers: Forever #1 by Marvel Comics is in comic book stores on Tuesday.
