To combat the original Iron Cat, Iron Man is putting his own special spin on the armored villain, as he will build a new Iron Cat armor for Black Cat that is filled with his own technological upgrades. In a new preview for Iron Cat #3 by Marvel Comics, Tony Stark will create Felicia Hardy a similar Iron Cat armor with a twist to a recent villain who's wreaked havoc in both of their lives.

Black Cat's Iron Cat armor originally started as a remote suit that Felicia Hardy created after breaking into Tony Stark's headquarters and using his Nanforge. Black Cat used the armor and pretended to be inside it to be at two places at once, but, the suit's poor construction led to it crumbling apart. However, the Iron Cat armor is about to fall into the wrong hands, as a new Iron Cat series from Marvel Comics will explore both Iron Man and Black Cat fighting back against someone using it for their own nefarious reasons. In order to stop the mysterious new wielder of the Iron Cat armor, Iron Man will be creating another suit similar to the villains, only this time, he will upgrade the armor with his own advanced tech.

In a brand new preview for Iron Cat #3 by Jed MacKay and Pere Perez by Marvel Comics, it's revealed Iron Man will be assisting Black Cat in taking down Iron Cat by constructing her own armor. Felicia Hardy's Iron Cat will take on the mysterious Iron Cat in the older suit, as Black Cat's armor will feature plenty of upgrades from Tony Stark. Check out Perez's cover, which features the two Iron Cats fighting it out in their armor.

  • IRON CAT vs. IRON CAT?!
  • Tony Stark and Felicia Hardy aren't going to let the mysterious wearer of the Iron Cat armor have all the fun.
  • Nope, Tony has done his own spin on the Iron Cat armor, and Felicia may like some of his innovations.

In this case, Tony Stark and Felicia Hardy decided the best way to beat Iron Cat was to create an even better version of the armor. Black Cat's new Iron Cat armor is nearly identical to the mysterious Iron Cat's older suit. However, Iron Man's influence is apparent, especially with the color scheme. It's likely Tony Stark upgraded the armor with more firepower than the original Iron Cat armor had. So, unless the villain upgraded the suit herself (assuming someone's operating inside of it now), Black Cat and Iron Man should have what it takes with the new armor to take down Iron Cat - but it won't be easy.
