Tony Stark isn't afraid to share his tech when needed. Case and point, when he went on a mission with Wolverine, Spider-Man and the Defenders, Iron Man came up with a solution to help his fellow heroes travel across the sea - give them custom Iron Man armor.

In the 2018 storyline, Hunt For Wolverine: The Adamantium Agenda by Tom Taylor, R.B. Silva, Adriano di Benedetto, Guru-eFX, and Joe Sabino, Tony Stark leads a team that's searching for the remains of Wolverine. His body is believed to be on sale on the underground black market with Mister Sinister being involved. After confronting Sinister (and Laura Kinney's Wolverine slicing his hands off) and learning Wolverine's DNA could be hiding on the "desolation islands," Tony concocts a plan to avoid the island's defenses and it absolutely rules.

To avoid Mister Sinister's defenses, Stark says the group needs to "be small" and stay "under the radar." He suggests to the team that they all suit up and come to the island over the southern Indian Ocean. In an incredibly epic moment, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Jessica Jones, Wolverine, and Luke Cage travel with the Iron Man armor into the heart of the island's defenses.

Iron Man and the Defenders

The armor Stark provides to his team isn't just some spare suits he had lying around, but the Iron Man-esque armor is made with each of the heroes in mind. Wolverine's features her iconic mask, Luke Cage has a giant flail, and Jessica Jones has a rescue-inspired suit with colors that echo her original costume. Logistics aside, the crew looks incredibly badass. The suits weren't just cool as they proved effective on the mission. Ultimately, the group manages to take down the threatening defenses with relative ease and infiltrate the island's lab. Unfortunately, they discover that Sinister is up too much more than simply collecting heroes' DNA, but instead he's collecting the entire planet's genetic make-up.

In this case, Iron Man perfectly suited up Wolverine, Spider-Man and the Defenders. You have to wonder if he has an Iron Man suit for every hero in the Marvel Universe - because that's definitely something we'd love to see. Introducing the Iron Man costumes was a really fun moment from a great miniseries. It's too bad the heroes didn't get to keep the costumes, however. Can you imagine Luke Cage with permanent Iron Man gear? That would be so unfair.
