It seems as though Iron Man is always ready with a new armor for every occasion. Over the years in Marvel Comics (and the MCU films), Tony Stark has built a sizable armory, with an even larger variety of specialized suits, each with their own upgrades, features, and unique uses for any scenario the superhero may find himself in.

A stealth suit? Check. A suit for underwater missions. Check. How about deep space travel? Of course. What about sIron Man armor for killing the dark elves of Svartalheim? Surprisingly, a check to that as well. However, one special armor is worth noting, as it's more than meets the eye. Meaning, it would most likely give Autobot Optimus Prime a run for his money -- and it partly has the movies to thank.

In the All-New, All-Different Avengers series that ran in 2015, a new team of Avengers are formed, consisting of Captain America (Sam Wilson), the All-Mighty Thor, Vision, Ms. Marvel, Nova, Spider-Man (Miles Morales), and Iron Man himself. In the series' very first issue and before this new team of Avengers is formed, Captain America is saving civilians from a traffic accident on the Queensboro Bridge. Afterwards, Tony Stark picks Sam up in his car. Of course, as this is Tony Stark car, it can fly. As they hover over the New York skyline, they discuss the fact that at that point in time, there is no official team of Avengers, and Tony considers starting a new team after having spent some time with the Guardians of the Galaxy traveling the stars. However, with the recent collapse of Stark Industries, Tony is forced is sell Avengers Tower. However, as they fly by they notice Spider-Man (Miles Morales) in need of some assistance dealing with a Chitauri warrior attacking at the tower. That's when Tony Stark reveals an even better feature to his car beyond mere flight.

Tony Stark's car is essentially a Transformer, albeit with that signature Stark flair. Not only that, but the suit transforms itself into the Hulkbuster armor Iron Man uses in Avengers: Age of UltronDue to the fact that that film also released the same year (2015), one could imagine this was done for the purpose as a fun method of cross-promotion. The same Hulkbuster suit would go on to be featured in Avengers: Infinity Waras well as in Avengers: Endgame.

In any case, the fact that even Tony Stark's car can become a suit of armor just goes to show how much effort and time Stark has put it to always being prepared and ready. That's almost a superpower in and of itself. It does make sense that Tony Stark would always want to have his primary means to protect others and help save the day close by and accessible, regardless of the situation. While some may think it's overkill, it does ensure that Iron Man can be available whenever and wherever he is needed in the Marvel Universe, no matter what.
