Warning! Spoilers for A.X.E.: Avengers #1 by Marvel Comics

The entire Marvel Universe is about to face judgment for their actions by a reawakened Celestial to determine the fate of the Earth, and for Iron Man, that means seemingly going up against every piece of armor he's ever worn. In a new unlettered preview for A.X.E.: Avengers #1 by Marvel Comics, Tony Stark is forced to look into his past and relive some of his darkest moments, including being tasked with fighting the armors he's made over the years.

Iron Man will be one of the heroes to face judgment in the current A.X.E. event at Marvel Comics, which has seen a war between the Eternals and X-Men lead to a Celestial being awakened and seeking judgment on the planet. The Celestial is determining whether the Earth is worth saving, leading it to judge the likes of Kro of the Deviants as worthy while deeming Captain America unworthy. Iron Man will be judged in A.X.E.: Avengers #1, where he will fight against his armor in what's set to be a difficult look into his past for the hero.

In a brand-new look (H/T CBR) at A.X.E: Avengers #1 from Kieron Gillen, Federico Vicentini, and Dean White from Marvel Comics, Iron Man gets a judgment from the Celestial, as he's shown his past, beginning with his origin. Iron Man fights all his armor at once, including his first, as he becomes overwhelmed by the suits. As that occurs, Tony Stark is forced to experience the deaths of Ho Yinsen, Captain America, and War Machine again. The Celestial is seemingly showing him how much destruction he's caused by creating his armors. Check out the full preview for A.X.E.: Avengers #1 by Marvel Comics below

Tony Stark was already painfully aware of the death and chaos he's caused and experienced in his life, so the Celestial jam-packing all Iron Man's trauma into one judgment will definitely be a difficult moment for the hero to relive. However, battling all of his armors at once, even in an illusion, will have a lasting impact on Iron Man - no matter how he's judged.

Regardless of whether the Celestial deems Iron Man worthy or unworthy after passing judgment on the hero, it's going to be tough for Tony Stark to relive all the darkest moments that turned him into the hero he is today. Can Iron Man make it out of a fight against all of his armor at once? Readers will find out more when A.X.E.: Judgment Day #1 by Marvel Comics is in stores on September 28th, 2022.
