Apple sells the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro in a variety of size and storage options, and this comes with numerous price tags for shoppers to be aware of. The launch of any new iPhone comes with a lot of emotions. Some folks are beyond excited to get Apple's latest, others are bored by the year-over-year changes, and other people are dread how much cash they'll have to spend in order to upgrade.

For its latest generation of iPhones, Apple has the iPhone 13 series. Across both lineups, Apple's delivered big improvements to the cameras, battery life, and displays. The iPhone 13 Pro devices are especially impressive thanks to the 120Hz refresh rates and an all-new macrophotography mode. These may not be the most exciting iPhones ever released, but for anyone upgrading from an iPhone 11 or older, there's a lot to like here.

As with any new smartphone, however, the iPhone 13 does come at a cost. Starting with the baseline iPhone 13, Apple has two sizes to choose from — iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini. Like the iPhone 12 and 12 mini that came before them, the iPhone 13 features a 6.1-inch display while the iPhone 13 mini gets a compact 5.4-inch screen. That smaller size also allows the iPhone 13 mini to be the most affordable option for the entire iPhone 13 family. It starts at $699 with 128GB of storage and goes up to $799 and $999 for the 256GB and 512GB models, respectively. Storage sizes are exactly the same for the regular iPhone 13, though the prices are increased by $100 across the board. That means $799 for the 128GB iPhone 13, $899 for 256GB, and $1099 for 512GB.

For shoppers who would rather have a more professional smartphone experience, the iPhone 13 Pro delivers exactly that. The iPhone 13 Pro dons the same 6.1-inch display as the iPhone 13, yet it upgrades the experience with a faster refresh rate, more capable cameras, and even longer battery life. Just be aware that all of those upgrades cost a pretty penny. The iPhone 13 Pro starts at a hefty $999 for the same 128GB of storage. Shoppers can then upgrade to 256GB and 512GB options for $1099 and $1299 either way. If that's still not enough space, the Pro variants also come with an exclusive 1TB storage configuration — costing $1499 for the iPhone 13 Pro.

Stepping up to the iPhone 13 Pro Max gets you a larger 6.7-inch display, monstrous battery, and continually higher prices. Similar to the iPhone 13 and 13 mini, there's a $100 price increase between the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. As such, pricing for the iPhone 13 Pro Max works out as follows: $1099 for 128GB, $1199 for 256GB, $1399 for 512GB, and $1599 for 1TB.

While the iPhone 13 lineup certainly isn't cheap, it's also not outrageously expensive. The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max cost the same as their predecessors. The iPhone 13 and 13 mini are a slightly better value, offering 128GB of storage instead of 64GB for the same starting prices as the 12 and 12 mini. As far as Apple pricing goes, the iPhone 13 lineup is one of the better values.
