A new Invincible trailer for Amazon Prime Video's animated TV show has arrived. Robert Kirkman is best known for creating The Walking Dead at this point, but one of his other beloved comic series is finally nearing an adaptation. The popular Invincible comic launched in 2003 and ended in 2017 after 144 issues of Mark Grayson's story. It was announced the following year that Kirkman was working with Amazon to turn Invincible into an animated show.

In the years since that announcement, Amazon and Kirkman have slowly revealed new information about the series. The Walking Dead's Steven Yeun is voicing Mark aka Invincible and J.K. Simmons is playing his alien father Omni-Man. It wasn't until 2020 that art from the show started to arrive, which was followed by the first Invincible footage. The teaser trailer didn't feature a lot of footage from the show, but it did establish the violent nature of the story, even as it refrained from highlighting major plot points. Thankfully, a new Invincible trailer is here.

With roughly a month to go before the first three episodes debut on Amazon Prime Video, the full Invincible trailer has now been released. The new footage teases what potential viewers will see when the show starts airing on March 26. The remaining five episodes of Invincible season 1 will be released on a weekly basis after the debut. Check out the new Invincible trailer below.

The new Invincible trailer provides a much better showing of the story and tone that fans of Kirkman's comics expect from the series. The majority of the footage focuses on Invincible's earliest days as a superhero and training with Omni-Man to get better. Their fight against the Flaxan alien race is shown briefly, as well as the tease of other villains like Doc Seismic. The trailer also provides the introduction of Teen Team, a superhero group Mark joins. Their roster includes Atom Eve, Rex Splode, Dupli-Kate, and Robot prior to Mark working with them.

For those who haven't read the Invincible comics, this trailer hints at some massive moments in the story that come during the first several issues. It is so far unknown how deep into the comic run the first season of Invincible will go, but eight hours of content should allow the story to make a lot of progress. As evident by the star-studded voice cast highlighted in the trailer, this will include meeting dozens of characters from the comics, such as the Guardians of the Globe and Allen the Alien. Thankfully, there are only a few weeks left before Invincible debuts on Amazon and gives everyone a chance to experience this story for the first time or in a brand new medium.
