AMC continues to conceal Lestat's face in a new image from its Interview with the Vampire series. Following the famous 1994 adaptation starring Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, and Kirsten Dunst, this is another interpretation of Anne Rice's gothic horror novel. Production for 2022's Interview with the Vampire started back in December 2021, and fans have begun to see several new images and trailers since then. A few months ago, a teaser trailer showed off Louis (Jacob Anderson) and Lestat's coffins side-by-side, but both lead actors’ faces were noticeably hidden.

Similarly, AMC has given audiences another obscured look at Lestat in Interview with the Vampire. Lestat is dressed in aged attire and hidden behind a metal gate with a swirling pattern that casts a shadow over the only visible part of his face. Check out the image below:

The continued effort to hide Lestat’s eyes from viewers deepens the excitement and mystery, but some previously released images could reveal why it's being done. Recently, fans were given a brief look at Reid’s Lestat de Lioncourt alongside Anderson’s Louis de Pointe du Lac, both of whom have unusual eyes, just like in the 1994 movie. There is a talented cast joining these two in Interview with the Vampire, with Bailey Bass set to play Claudia, Kalyne Coleman as Grace de Pointe du Lac, Assad Zaman as Rashid, Christopher Stack as Tom Anderson, Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy, and Rachel Alana Handler as Peg Leg Doris. Currently, Interview with the Vampire is slated for a fall 2022 release.
