Season 2 Episode 7 - Star Wars Forever (7.6)

In this episode, the artists are tasked with making Star Wars themed tattoos but with a twist and a little bit of a competition set on by George Lucas himself. Not only are the artists tasked with creating tattoos but also with making them perfect for the highly critical fans who are receiving the tattoos.

The episode had fun, competition, and as fans, we got to see amazing Star Wars themed tattoos that were really out of this world.

Season 7 Episode 2 - One Man's Trash (7.6)

In the second episode of the 7th season, the stakes are at an all-time high with the Flash challenge and an Ink Master veterans coming back to challenge the team. The episode has the young versus the old and the tensions run high as they compete for the $100,000 cash prize.

It not only features a great and suspense building competition but it also builds up to the rest of the season and starts the 7th season with a bang.

Season 10 Episode 4 - Step It Up (7.6)

In the 10th season, we saw something that's never been done before, the judges coming down and helping during a team Flash challenge. To add to the pressure of having the mentors in your face, the contestants have to create a mash-up of tattoos that prove to be challenging to watch.

It does test a lot of artists and a lot of tension is brought on, but it is nevertheless entertaining and fun to watch.

Season 7 Episode  6 -  Under Pressure (7.7)

In the sixth episode of season 7 tensions are once again tested when the teams are divided and new alliances are formed. Add in another veteran presence coming in to take down a common enemy, the stakes for the 100k are at an all-time high.

In season 7, we see a lot of new concepts for the show and ranked as one of the best seasons in the entire series, the tension in this episode continued for the whole season.

Season 6 Episode 1 - Meet Your Maker (7.7)

The first episode of the 6th season starts off with a head to head challenge between a veteran tattoo artists and a competing younger one. The competition sets precedent for the entire season and shows us all who the contestants for the new season are going to be.

As the second-highest season premiere, season 6 had a lot of ups and downs and relied a lot on the drama from the first few episodes to carry the show.

Season 9 Episode 15 - Marathon To The Finale (7.7)

In one of the final episodes of the season, the top four artists battle it out for the last three spots and like all the other competitions, stakes are at an all-time high. This is where fans of certain artists all sat in awe, waiting to see who wasn't going to make it.

Season 9 arguably had some of the most talented and well-liked contestants so seeing them each compete and get sent home was as heartbreaking as it was entertaining.

Season 10 Episode 5 - Ink On The Dotted Line (7.8)

For a show to last 10 seasons, it must do a great job being creative and maintaining audiences on their feet. In the fifth episode of the 10th season, we saw the contestants dealing with a lot of unique challenges with their experiences being put to the test.

In this particular episode, the artists were tasked with using a hole punch to make their art and even the judges put their own skin on the line.

Season 7 Episode 9 - Sink Or Soar (7.9)

In this episode, the contestants are tasked with creating over the top back pieces that test their skills and challenge them to see who the real Ink Master. Tempers flare, cools are lost, and the contestants are tasked with something they have never done before.

This episode is a great reminder of why fans love Ink Master, and why the title is so important and not easy to obtain.

Season 7 Episode 10 - Shipwrecked (7.9)

In the next episode, the six contestants break up in teams of two and are forced to compete against each other. As it sneaks closer to the end of the season, we see the competition become more stressful for the artists as they see who the real In Master is.

Season 7 was another season that was well-received due to the talent of the artists and the themes throughout.

Season 10 Episode 1 - Pick Your Side (8.2)

The highest-ranked season premiere of the entire series came in season 10, with old Ink Masters coming back to coach and mentor the new artists. Not only does the 10th season bring back familiar faces but it puts them in new roles and we see them in a different light.

The 10th season featured a lot of different themes and competitions that gave Paramount the confidence to continue to give the show another season renewal.
