The Avengers: Infinity War teaser is still in the editing room getting the final touch-ups, as revealed by Marvel Studios co-president, Louis D’Esposito. Infinity War and the still-untitled Avengers 4 will be a turning point in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, bringing together the Avengers, New Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and new superheroes to fight the mad titan Thanos.

Those who attended Marvel Studios’ panels at this year’s D23 Expo and San Diego Comic-Con got the first look at the Infinity War teaser, which has not been officially released by the studio. Said teaser gave audiences a hint at some action sequences and emotional moments as well as a clearer look at Thanos and the new costumes of some of the heroes. Fans have been eagerly waiting for Marvel to release the teaser and it seems like we won’t have to wait for long to finally watch it.

Fans have been quite vocal on social media regarding the Infinity War teaser, constantly asking (or demanding) the cast, crew, and heads of Marvel Studios to release the footage as soon as possible. Marvel Studios co-president Louis D’Esposito replied to one of those demands on Twitter, sharing that the teaser is not ready yet as they are still working on it.

All I can say is that I love it and I hope all you feel the same. It’s currently being finished so it’s not ready yet. https://t.co/AIKdY5sgkF— Louis D'Esposito (@louisde2) 8 de octubre de 2017

According to descriptions, among the top moments from the teaser are Thor crashing on the Guardians’ spaceship, the Milano; Loki holding the Tesseract (which contains an infinity stone); Spider-Man’s new suit, as seen at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming; Doctor Strange and Star-Lord working together; Captain America in a different suit and with a beard, possibly teasing his conversion to Nomad; and Thanos pulling pieces of a moon to toss at the Avengers. It showed, even if just for a few seconds, almost every superhero set to appear on the film.

Avengers: Infinity War, set four years after the events in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, will see Earth’s Mightiest Heroes joining forces with the Guardians of the Galaxy to go against Thanos, who is collecting the infinity stones for the gauntlet, allowing him immense power on many levels. Fighting alongside the heroes of the Guardians, Avengers, and New Avengers teams are newcomers Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, and Black Panther.

It’s unknown if Marvel will release the same teaser (with a few changes here and there) from the previous conventions or if they will go with a completely new video. With the release of Thor: Ragnarok approaching, it’s possible that the studio could decide to attach the teaser to the third Thor film. In the end, Marvel never ceases to surprise its fans, so the teaser could either be released earlier or be attached to a non-Marvel film, such as Disney and Pixar’s Coco.
