Fans can now take a sneak peek of the process to create Thanos' (Josh Brolin) Infinity Gauntlet in Avengers: Infinity War. Aside from the six Infinity Stones, the metal glove that held them together was very pivotal in the Mad Titan's plans of balancing the universe with a snap of his fingers. Despite the gallant effort from Earth's Mightiest Heroes with the help of their new allies - the Guardians of the Galaxy and other independently operating heroes, they ultimate lost, with the villain accomplishing his nefarious plan.

The Infinity Gauntlet has has had a tumultuous history in the MCU. It was first seen inside Odin's vault on Asgard from 2011's ThorYears later, people were confused when the post-credit scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron saw the Mad Titan donning what apparently was the real Infinity Gauntlet. However, as explained in Infinity War, Thanos personally sought the service of the legendary blacksmith, Eitri in Nidavellir. He was forced to create the gauntlet by killing his people as he explained to Thor, Rocket and Teen Groot during their mission to get the Stormbreaker.

As an important piece of storytelling for both Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, it only makes sense that Marvel Studios took a lot of thought on its design and then spent enough time creating the prop used in the films. In a new image shared by photographer Chuck Zlotnick captures a moment in the process of his friend, Fred working on the said item. Check it out below:

Thanos' original Infinity Gauntlet was fused to his hand after he wielded the power of all six Infinity Stones at the end of Infinity War. After he was killed by Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in the Garden, that version of the metal glove was never seen again. Still, it remained an important piece in Endgame as Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) essentially followed its design to create their own iteration on the heels of their Time Heist mission. Smart Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) used the secondary gauntlet to bring back those who perished in the Decimation. It's also the same one that Thanos was able to briefly put on before Tony swiped the crystals and embedded it on a third gauntlet which was part of his final armor.

The MCU's primary timeline is currently devoid of any Infinity Stones, and with Phase 4 kicking off soon, the franchise is moving on from the events of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. All that being said, there's always a possibility that the elemental crystals, alongside the Infinity Gauntlet will once again factor in their storytelling. With time travel already a possibility, not to mention the supposed proper introduction of the multiverse, there's a myriad of ways that they can be brought back if the story calls for them.
