Warning: Includes a preview of Infinite Frontier #1!

Infinite Frontier is introducing a new bounty hunter named X-Tract, and they're after people who don't belong on Earth-0. Over the years, DC Comics has amassed quite a catalog of rogue bounty hunters such as Lobo, Deathstroke, and Jonah Hex. However, they will have competition as a brand new bounty hunter is in town. Rounding up all the misfits on Earth-0, it's currently unclear who she will be working for and where he allegiance lies.

The Infinite Frontier miniseries is coming very soon and will feature many of the DC universe's greatest heroes. Alongside those heroes though are some more morally shady figures. Infinite Frontier #1 begins the six-part miniseries which has been confirmed to be the first act of DC's new story. According to Joshua Williamson, the events of the miniseries will continue onwards to another event later in the year. Taking it up a further notch, Act Three will be the conclusion and won't release until next year. The three-act structure of Williamson's new story proves that DC's plans are expansive and long-lasting. Fans will be excited to hear that the year in comics is only getting started.

In Infinite Frontier #1 by Joshua Williamson, Xermanico, and Romulo Fajardo Jr., X-tract is making her debut. Through a Twitter post, Williamson revealed the first look at X-Tract. Her first appearance will be in issue one and it seems like she is going to be returning for more action. It's implied through Williamson's use of "first appearance" that X-Tract will be an important character. Her appearance in the first issue isn't going to be a one-and-done type situation. Check out what X-Tract looks like below:

X-Track is a bounty hunter and in the preview, she is seen sporting some form of a futuristic gun. Who is X-Tract and where is she from? These are questions that are bound to be touched upon as she returns in each issue. It must be noted that, along with her gun, her outfit looks quite futuristic. There's a chance that she is a time traveler. A possible theory could be that the reason she is there to save Earth-0, in her own way, from outside threats. But it's more likely that there's no heroic side to X-Tract and she's quite simply rounding up misfits just for money.

In the artwork, X-Tract is seen phasing her body. It's possible that her phasing is some form of superpower that she has, similar to the Flash, or it could be an aftereffect of being on the wrong Earth? As of now, X-Tract remains a mystery but one thing's certain, she looks like she means business. How she will fit into Infinite Frontier's major leading heroes remains unclear, but at some point, they are sure to cross paths. Primarily because X-Tract, Justice Incarnate, and Director Bones' rag-tag team are all operating on a multiversal level.
