Harrison Ford cracks a big smile dressed as the famed adventurer while on set in a new image from Indiana Jones 5. The 79-year-old actor is back to work on the upcoming movie after being sidelined for many weeks to heal from a shoulder injury he suffered on set back in June. While Ford's injury first appeared quite serious, potentially needing surgery, he was back on set quicker than expected.

The legendary actor first played the famous archaeologist in George Lucas and Steven Spielberg's 1981 movie, Raiders of the Lost Ark. Since then, Ford has played the character in three other films in the franchise, with his latest outing serving as his fourth. Known for his devilish good looks and gruff exterior, Indiana Jones quickly become one of cinema's most popular characters of all time. Over the years, Ford's portrayal has earned the character a spot on numerous film charts, such as ranking second on Entertainment Weekly's list of "The All-Time Coolest Heroes in Pop Culture." Ford is back and ready to bring Indiana Jones to the big screen in at least one more outing.

Standing beside co-stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Antonio Banderas, Ford and crew are dressed in their wardrobes for the movie. Both Ford and Waller-Bridge look to be smiling at something Banderas said. The photo was taken last Monday on set in Castellammare del Golfo, Italy. Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones

Despite the recent Indiana Jones 5 release delay, the cast seem to be in good spirits and ready to film their scenes. Ford is pictured in his classic brown fedora and matching jacket, along with a duffle bag slung around his shoulders. The photo also provides a new look at Ford's co-stars, whose characters are both unknown at this time. Waller-Bridge is dressed in a white buttoned-up shirt tied at the bottom with a gray jacket around her shoulders. Banderas, who is only seen from the back, is wearing a gray-toned buttoned-up shirt and matching pants. Both costumes seem right at place within an Indiana Jones movie.

While the photo doesn't give away any new information about the upcoming story, it does provide a sense of camaraderie among the stars. With another recent Indiana Jones set photo hinting at time travel, it will be interesting to see how the look of the stars photographed above may change throughout the finished movie. Nonetheless, fans can expect to see Ford and crew on the big screen once the untitled Indiana Jones 5 debuts in 2023.
