The full cast of new and returning characters for The Incredibles 2 has finally been revealed. The highly anticipated sequel to the 2004 animated Pixar film will hit theaters this summer, continuing the adventures of the superhero family lead by Helen Parr aka Elastigirl (voiced by Holly Hunter) and Bob Parr aka Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson). The first movie saw the family lying low and keeping their identities as Supers a secret, but it looks like those days are about to change.

In The Incredibles 2, Elastigirl has been chosen to lead a campaign to bring Supers back into the spotlight. After years of hiding and raising her family, she is thrust into the the role of top superhero - a position previously held by her husband. This means Mr. Incredible will find himself raising the kids, including Jack-Jack and his new emerging (and unpredictable) powers.

Disney has released a full cast list for The Incredibles 2, along with new images, detailing what the original character are up to at the start of the film.

Helen Parr/Elastigirl is back kicking butt and proving that saving the world shouldn't just be left to the guys. Besides her powers of excellent parenting, she can bend and stretch to fit any situation. This comes in handy when she is chosen to lead the Supers out of hiding and back into the public, especially with new villains also emerging.

Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible loved his time as a top Super fighting alongside his wife with his impressive super strength. Now that she has been called to change the public perception of superheroes, he must manage the household on his own and learn a whole new set of superpowers.

Violet Parr (Sarah Vowell) is a sarcastic and shy 14 year old who has come to embrace her powers of invisibility and force field creation. When it comes down to it, Violet can't resist the urge to fight crime alongside her super family.

Dash Parr (Huckleberry “Huck” Milner) is an energetic 10 year old who loves his powers of super speed. He doesn't understand why he has to keep his abilities a secret and likes that they set him apart. He is restless and curious and loves showing off as much as he loves taking down the bad guys.

Jack-Jack Parr seemed like a typical toddler until his powers revealed themselves at the end of the first Incredibles film. Now it appears that he may be the most powerful member of the Parr family, if only they could figure out exactly what his powers are and how to control them.

Edna Mode (Brad Bird) is a creative visionary when it comes to creating supersuits. She just has one rule: no capes. With her understanding of advanced technology and impeccable design sense she longs for the day when Supers return and she is the one creating their suits. She treats her clients like family and understands their needs, sometimes even better than they do.

Lucius Best/Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) is Bob's best friend and a Super in his own right. With the powers to make ice with a touch, he's always cool. And he can't wait to break out his supersuit if it means superheroes can finally come out of hiding.

Voyd (Sophia Bush) is a new character and wannabe Super. She is young and overeager and idolizes Elastigirl. She has the power to divert and manipulate objects around her by creating voids that allow the objects to appear and disappear and shift in space.

Evelyn Deavor (Catherine Keener) created a telecommunications company alongside her brother Winston. She is brilliant and knows her way around tech. She loves tinkering and there's no problem she can't solve.

Winston Deavor (Bob Odenkirk) leads a telecommunications company alongside his sister Evelyn. Super rich and savvy, he goes big in all his endeavors. This includes his infatuation with Supers and bringing them back. As long as he can find a hero to help him change public perception.

The Ambassador (Isabella Rossellini) is a dignified advocate who is committed to supporting the legalization of Superheroes.

Rick Dicker (Jonathan Banks) leads the Superhero Relocation Program and has helped the Parr family keep their identity a secret on a number of occasions. He takes his job very seriously, which isn't always easy. However, once his department is shut down he can no longer offer his assistance and the Parr family is left on their own.

Brad Bird is also returning as writer and director for the film. Hopefully the new additions, alongside the returning original cast members, will make The Incredibles 2 as fun and beloved as the original.
