While multiplayer games are famous for their multiplayer modes, there are still quite a few that have single-player campaigns. Though many multiplayer gamers would gravitate towards the multiplayer modes, the single-player campaigns are still worth playing through.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is one of the best fighting games ever, and while it's mainly known for its multiplayer gameplay, whether it be the online or split screen, it still features a rather interesting campaign mode.

Dubbed "World of Light," the campaign features the fighters battling against the entities known as Galeem and Dharkon, the former of which annihilates nearly all of them except Kirby at the start of the campaign. Players must unlock other fighters throughout the campaign to defeat the entities and free the universe. While certainly not as exciting as fighting live players from around the world, this campaign still does enough to keep those who prefer single-player modes entertained for a good long while.
