Ice Cube is working on a new comedy movie titled Cube in My Head. This film will be the next on a long list of acting credits for the rapper, which includes roles in 21 Jump Street, Ride Along, and Are We There Yet?. Each of those films were successful enough to have garnered a sequel. Though Ice Cube initially gained popularity through his music, he has consistently delighted movie audiences since his debut in 1991’s Boyz n the Hood and will likely do so again with this new film.

Ice Cube is set to return to the big screen with the upcoming comedy movie Cube In My Head. According to Collider, the film is about a man who gets into an accident and, just as the title suggests, hears Ice Cube’s voice in his head providing wisdom and helping him get his life back on track. Production on the movie is expected to begin later this year with Ben Hurwitz overseeing the process for Ice Cube’s production company, Cube Vision.

Cube In My Head comes as part of a new deal between CubeVision and Luminosity Entertainment that involves the production of multiple new television and film pictures. Still, even without the new ties with Luminosity, Ice Cube has a full docket with another long-awaited installment of the Ride Along franchise and a War of the Worlds film in the works. Though fans may have to wait a long time for Ice Cube’s next movie, they can at least look forward to multiple stories with him in the front seat.
