The I Still Believe soundtrack features numerous performances from star KJ Apa, along with alternative rock tracks that boost the major themes of love and faith. Based on the memoir of Christian recording artist Jeremy Camp, the Erwin Brothers movie adaptation includes original songs that were written by the subject, most notably the inspirational title track.

I Still Believe tells the story of how Camp met his first wife, Melissa, at Calvary Chapel Bible College in California during the late '90s. As Jeremy (Apa) pursues his music career, Melissa (Britt Robertson) discovers that she has ovarian cancer. I Still Believe focuses on the couple's faith during their shared experiences, and also the events that led to Melissa's death just four months after she married Jeremy. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, I Still Believe was released early on digital platforms in March 2020.

Early on, "Run" plays as Jeremy leaves Indiana for California - many viewers may remember the song from the 1998 football drama Varsity Blues. During a campfire sequence, Jeremy performs "Find Me in the River" in the company of Melissa and friends. He then performs "This Man" shortly after upon being invited on stage by Jean-Luc Lajoie (Nathan Parson).

"Sweet Disposition" scores a moment when Jeremy and Melissa agree to a second date, and Jeremy then records "My Desire" for his demo tape. As the couple deals with Melissa's cancer diagnosis, Jeremy performs "Right Here" at a concert with his fiancée in attendance.

After Melissa's cancer disappears, "Can't Help Falling in Love" plays as the focal couple processes the news. Later, Jeremy tearfully sings "Walk by Faith" at the request of his sick wife in a hospital room. When the storyline jumps ahead two years, Jeremy sings "I Still Believe" - an ode to Melissa; a song that ultimately connected with fans all over the world.
