Who is the uncredited voice behind The Huntsman: Winter's War narrator? Around the time of the release Of Snow White And The Huntsman, there was a subgenre of movies that took classic Brothers Grimm fairy tales and gave them a modern twist, such as the action/horror hybrid Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters or 2014's Maleficent, which focused on the titular villain of the same name played by Angelina Jolie. Revisiting the story of Snow White seemed to be a particularly popular thread, with both Mirror Mirror starring Julia Roberts and Snow White And The Huntsman being released in 2012.

Snow White And The Huntsman ended up being the winner of that box-office race, with the movie starring Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth in the title roles as they took on Charlize Theron's evil Queen Ravenna. It was a more action-focused take on the fairy tale and received good reviews for its visuals, though the overall critical response was lukewarm. That didn't stop the studio planning a sequel, however, though they decided to sideline Stewart's Snow White in favor of Hemsworth's Huntsman instead. After being dissatisfied with the scripts she read Stewart declined to return for a cameo in the sequel.

This turned out to be a wise choice as 2016's The Huntsman: Winter's War didn't turn so well. Despite adding Emily Blunt and Jessica Chastain to the cast, the movie was a muddled fantasy epic and it was largely seen as an unneeded follow-up. Even Chris Hemsworth admitted in a retrospective look back on the sequel that the production had trouble landing on the tone of the movie. Still, it at least benefitted from its overqualified cast, with Theron and Blunt proving particularly good. The movie has featured an uncredited narrator with a very familiar voice.

Liam Neeson in The Grey

Liam Neeson narrates The Huntsman: Winter' War and given how distinct the Northern Irish actor's voice is, its fairly easy to tell. Neeson has loaned his voice to various other productions, voicing the titular character in A Monster Calls, the Lone Wanderer's father in Fallout 3 and he voiced Aslan in The Chronicles Of Narnia trilogy.

The Huntsman: Winter's War ended up grossing less than half of its predecessor which makes a further installment unlikely. The movie ended on a post-credit scene hinting at the return of Snow White, but given both Stewart's and Hemsworth's comments on the sequel, it can be safely assumed neither is interested in the further adventures of Snow White or The Huntsman.
