When it comes to The Hunger Games franchise, there are countless topics to dive into! The betrayals, sacrifices, economic comparisons, and various parallels to reality attract dedicated fans long after its 2012 release. It's not just about a bunch of rebellious and smart adolescents that are forced into this societal warfare. It's rather focused on personal growth and the comparisons that audiences make with these characters.

Aside from the darker elements of the brilliant series, it certainly would be fun to decipher which characters are true (or fabricated) fashionistas. Whether they come straight from the Capitol or from the surrounding districts, here are the 10 most fashionable characters in the series.

Tigris

Some may consider her sense of fashion a little scary, but it's actually quite creative and beautiful. Tigris is one of the oldest Capitol characters, living through the earliest years of the games' origins.

Her style involves a unique tiger style, obviously, as she had whiskers implanted into her face as well as longer, intricate tattoos along with her fur coat. Her bold wardrobe and overall cosmetic appearance convey her ability to hide something, such as when she helps the entire squad in Mockingjay Part 2 hide from getting captured by Capitol police.

Katniss

Katniss wearing a wedding dress for her interview in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

The only issue with this is that Katniss doesn't really choose her Capitol-ingrained outfits. Her wedding dress is picked out by Snow, her fiery dresses and inflamed black parade suit are designed by Cinna, her whole Mockingjay outfit is assigned to her and the jacket she wears to go hunting is her late father's. The jacket is the most truthful piece of her personal fashion, but the Capitol teams do get one thing right when they doll her up in seemingly ridiculous clothes (from her perspective).

The fire-catching outfits reflect rebellion, which is in her heart from the start during the 74th Games. Wearing the Mockingjay pin is her own personal act of rebellion against Snow long before she's even aware that it's a nationwide symbol when she thanks Snow for commenting on her pin and saying "it's from my District."

Caesar

This cartoonish yet ultimately grave character is easily lovable through his smile and tone, but what does his fashion say about the TV talk show host? For starters, his suits normally accent the color of his hair whether it be blue or pink.

Caesar's wardrobe consists of some of the Capitol's finest designs, swirling through each lapel and sleeve of his blazers. His outfits reflect his current state of mind, which is why he looks a little more grave and evil toward the end of the entire series when he publicly condemns "the rebels."

Johanna

The Hunger Games Catching Fire Johanna Mason Elevator

That wink in the elevator scenes just says it all, doesn't it? Johanna's style gives off her essence as sharp, edgy, and fierce. Although she quickly strips off her entire outfit after the Quarter Quell stage interviews, that style is actually enough to describe her main side, which is her openness and fearlessness.

Those traits are revealed in the Quarter Quell when she shouts rebellious statements to President Snow in the arena, telling everyone that "he can't hurt me. There's no one left that I love." Whether Johanna is wearing a huge dress or is completely stripped of any clothing, her fashion does not cover up anything about her.

Glimmer

Like her or not, the "Career pack" tribute can certainly strut her stuff in fashionable outfit choices!

Viewers first see her best outfit when she's in the parade, riding in the chariot waving to the crowd of screaming Capitol fans, wearing a pink, feathery and unique outfit piece. She then glides onto the stage in a bubblegum-pink, short dress, and several-inch heels when she gets her few minutes of fame with Caesar. Although Glimmer doesn't have the greatest moral intentions, she is still a fashion icon in the movie.

Claudius Templesmith

He may not be the most memorable for his fashion, but Claudius, the games' announcer, is a bit of a fashionista himself.

Perhaps it's because his on-air colleague, Caesar, influenced him with his own fashionable styles, but Claudius finishes his loud-patterned suits with his simple yet interesting-looking hairdo. Templesmith's blazers are usually designed with patterns that dot every inch and spec of the fabric, lightening his face and certainly making more of an entrance into a room than some fans give him credit for.

Octavia

One of Katniss's wardrobe team members, Octavia doesn't get as much screen time as she deserves (nor does Flavius), but viewers are still able to recognize the creative outfits and guises she adorns herself with.

Octavia's eye makeup is–fittingly–the first most eye-catching facet of her outward fashion, followed by the interesting outfit choices she has that align with the trending Capitol couture. She's seen with a striped suit, blue eye makeup, and purple-is colors that accent the entire outfit. This is just one of her outfit choices, clearly.

Commander Paylor

If fans don't remember Commander Paylor, then that's a problem in itself because she is actually a more subtle fashion icon of Mockingjay Part 2.

Commander Paylor deserves the leadership she is later granted because her outfit choices, while less noisy as the Capitol couture is, are emblematic of her warrior self. The purple top accentuates her sense of style along with the beautiful hairpiece she wears for her hair. The colors that she chooses (while limited due to obvious war-environmental and poverty-stricken reasons she is initially accustomed to) convey a tranquil yet bold demeanor. She isn't afraid to stand out in a crowd, yet she also is able to fight comfortably.

President Snow

Whether fans like it or not, the merciless murderer of a president actually has some style in his wardrobe. Clearly, he doesn't pick out his daily outfits, as wealthy and pampered as he appears to be in the midst of his tyrannical moments. But, his outfits nonetheless represent a stylistic expression of his constant hunger for power.

Snow's military-based clothes are intended to define the guise of power and a dictatorship, while his other intricately designed blazers and shirts reflect a sinister yet tasteful style. And, of course, that white rose accessory is just the finishing touch to his haunting demeanor. His fashion is his way of validating his control.

Effie

The one and only true fashionista of the entire series, Effie's wardrobe reveals her fearless side. Her bold statements (remember, "that is Mahogany!") could scrutinize another person, but viewers recognize that she ultimately means well. The fluffy, flouncy, bouncy, feathery, and airy outfits that Effie rocks any runway with conveying a loud opinion, without the need to say anything.

Effie takes her appearance rather seriously, which seems shallow at times, but she nevertheless uses her fashion skills for positivity. Her meaningful accessory contributions to Katniss and Peeta's second games (Katniss's pin and Peeta's medallion) together prove to hold much more than what she'd imagined. Effie is the one that mainly holds down the fashion aspect of the films.
