In the streaming service arena, there’s Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu, the latter of which is adding an impressive amount of new content to its usually robust offerings of TV shows and movies this December. While Hulu offers plenty of original content worth becoming a subscriber for — with The Handmaid’s Tale, Marvel’s Runaways, the Blumhouse Television anthology Into the Dark, and more — the service is, like its chief competitors, an excellent repository for TV shows and movies both new and old, and as though the service is going to make sure subscribers have plenty to binge during the holidays.

Though Hulu Live customers still frustratingly can’t get AMC as a channel (let’s get that fixed, Hulu), two of the cable network’s series will be available in December. Most notable, perhaps, is the first season of Killing Eve, which has already netted star Sandra Oh an Emmy nomination and has made co-star Jodie Comer into a known quantity. And, in case you missed it during its dour four-season run (on both AMC and then Netflix), you can check out Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman in The Killing. Movie-wise, there’s a lot to dig into, as Hulu is adding a boat load of flicks, and even making it easy for viewers to throw a Tom Hanks triple feature.

As reported by TVAnswerman things are a little slow on the original side of things, but Hulu will drop two Into the Dark installments (want to get that New Year’s Eve-themed movie out before everyone’s popped the champagne, apparently) and the second season of Marvel’s Runaways, which is rumored to live up to its title this time around. Check out the noteworthy additions to Hulu’s December lineup, and read the full list here:
