Some of the most fun that you can have with any of your streaming services comes from reliving films that you loved from the past. Those movies that scratch that nostalgic itch you just can't shake until you sit through a classic. Of course, picking what to watch can be extremely difficult.

There are more streaming services than ever these days, so finding just the right film on the right platform can be tough. Hulu is a great place to start. Although they're more known for streaming television, they boast a tremendous catalog of hits from the 1990s to enjoy.

Wayne's World 2 (1993)

Wayne and Garth in the desert in Wayne's World 2

The original Wayne's World is often named among the best comedies released during the 1990s. Although that isn't available to stream on Hulu, the criminally underrated sequel is. Wayne's World 2 came out nearly two years later and brought back the core cast, only with additions like Christopher Walken.

In it, Wayne (Mike Myers) has a dream that prompts him to try and host a giant concert dubbed "Waynestock" alongside his buddy Garth (Dana Carvey). While this doesn't have as strong of a plot as its predecessor, it is arguably funnier, with some truly ridiculous moments.

Demolition Man (1993)

Police officers in Demolition Man

On paper, this might not be a film you'd expect to work. It sees a destructive police officer and his crime lord rival frozen for over thirty years. The villain is thawed for parole in a future without crime. They don't know how to handle him, so the cop is also thawed to go after him.

As wild as it sounds, Demolition Man became a hit, grossing $159.1 million at the box office. Part of what made it such fun was the casting of Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes. There's also a big role for Sandra Bullock and some surprising early appearances from Jack Black and Rob Schneider.

Deep Blue Sea (1999)

Deep Blue Sea 1999 Shark Attack Inside Facility

In line with movies that are kind of wacky, there's Deep Blue Sea. Billed as sci-fi horror, it follows a group of scientists at an isolated underwater facility as they research sharks to help the fight against Alzheimer's disease. That's all just a setup to get these characters into a chaotic situation.

Genetically engineered sharks ultimately attack the facility and its crew members, making for a wild ride. The cast includes Samuel L. Jackson (who is famously eaten by a shark in an iconic scene), LL Cool J, and Saffron Burrows. It has attained cult status and spawned two unexpected sequels in 2018 and 2020.

Romeo + Juliet (1996)

Romeo caresses Juliet's hand

A year before officially breaking out as a massive movie star thanks to Titanic, Leonardo DiCaprio starred as Romeo Montague in this retelling of the classic William Shakespeare play. By now everyone knows the tale of the lovebirds with the feuding families.

That was even the case in 1996, meaning Romeo + Juliet had to do a lot of work to feel original or unique. It did just enough to be different, mostly led by the inventive visual stylings of director Baz Luhrmann. The chemistry between DiCaprio and Claire Danes certainly didn't hurt, either.

Air Force One (1997)

Harrison Ford In Air Force One

If you put Harrison Ford in an action film, there's a great chance that it will be well-receivedAir Force One was way different from things like Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark but it was still led by the incredible talents of the charismatic Ford.

Air Force One is famously the callsign for the plane that carries the President of the United States. Ford played President James Marshall, who steps up to rescue everyone after a group of terrorists hijacked the plane. The supporting cast of Gary Oldman, Glenn Close, and William H. Macy also helped make this a hit.

My Best Friend's Wedding (1997)

For a long time, Julia Roberts was the queen of the romantic comedy. While most will agree that Pretty Woman ranks at the top of her list, 1997's My Best Friend's Wedding is quite close. It was a huge success, grossing $299.3 million and making the lead song off the soundtrack into a Billboard Hot 100 hit.

The film follows Julianne Potter (Roberts), a food critic who realizes that she's in love with her best friend just as he's about to marry someone else. It's not the most original premise but this movie handles it in such a fun way. Cameron Diaz also had something of a breakout role here.

Any Given Sunday (1999)

Al Pacino breaks up a fight between football players

There are certain things that everyone kind of expects from a great sports film. They typically hit on a lot of the same notes and there are tropes you can follow. Any Given Sunday does some of those things but also focuses a lot on the character drama over the game moments.

Any Given Sunday centers on the drama that goes on for the players, coaches, and management of a pro football team. The cast is fantastic, including Al Pacino, Cameron Diaz, Dennis Quaid, Jamie Foxx, LL Cool J, and even real NFL star Lawrence Taylor. Plus, it features an all-time great sports speech.

The Rock (1996)

John Mason gives a thumbs up in The Rock.

Michael Bay is a director who has had his name said in a negative manner in recent years. He's known for delivering big explosions and actions without much care for plots, as evidenced by the Transformers franchise. However, he has some true hits on his resume.

The Rock might be his greatest work ever. In it, a team of SEALs and a chemist are sent into Alcatraz to prevent the launching of rockets filled with nerve gas. It was heavily praised for the huge thrills and action set pieces.

Interview With The Vampire (1994)

Lestat and Louis talking in Interview With the Vampire

This film was nominated for multiple Academy Awards and features the likes of Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Antonio Banderas, Christian Slater, and Kirsten Dunst. Despite that, it seems like it gets overlooked when it comes to discussing the best vampire films.

Interview with the Vampire focuses on the relationship between Lestat (Cruise) and Louis (Pitt), starting with Lestat turning Louis into a vampire. During that time, they also turn a young girl (Dunst) into a vampire. The whole thing is framed as an interview Louis gives in the present day.

Blade (1998)

Wesley Snipes in Blade film

When the Marvel Cinematic Universe announced that it would be bringing Blade into the mix with Mahershala Ali starring, fans were excited. That's partially because the character is great and also because the existing films based on him are already pretty fantastic.

Wesley Snipes returns to the list as the titular Blade, a half-vampire who can walk in the daytime and hunts other vampires. It's a cult hit that has only become more beloved over time. There's tons of action, quotable lines, cool scenes, and you can't help but have a good time watching it.
